For those wondering, the page size is 15"x22" and the paper type is Strathmore large bristol vellum sheets cut in half. We also have 4 collector's edition comics of Thuneworld available on our website! www.steverude.com/collections/battle-for-thuneworld

Great insight but the video is a little too low resolution. As for reasons to not use larger brushes, price and low quality control, a #2 kolinsky brush these days is around 20-30, even in Europe it's around that price, a #2 is easier to make and they put more effort into the sizes that sell more. I have an ultra high quality #10 that has an amazing point but it's a vintage kolinsky brush that today would cost the same of a small car and with a dull point.

Not true, in Europe you can find larger Kolinsky brushes which are great quality, give you a perfect point and are affordable. See those by Rosemary and Co.

@@djo-dji6018 Those are in England, it will cost you more in import taxes and customs since Brexit happened, I have many Rosemary brushes when they cost £5 for a number 4, now they cost a lot more.

Is the page setup 12x18? If so, how do you setup the page dimensions (bleed, safe area etc?)

The page size is 15"x22" and Steve uses a template to layout the comic pages. Hope this helps!
