Ryan is amazing, and his videos have been a great help. I used He Man figures to learn anatomy as a kid too, and am feeling some proximal pride in that.
At 1:29 when you started inking the chains on his arm, it reminded me of what Vince Colletta over at Marvel used to do. Erase things and stuff like that. Not putting him down, I actually like his style. He also beat lots of deadlines! I think I'll look for that Tombow brush pen. By any chance would you have any videos on how to ink city backgrounds with loads of detail? Thanks for a great vid!
Great video! The face triangle trick also took me a while to figure out. Can you give a mindset hint or excercise advice to use black ink so freely as you do? When you filled the chains with darkness around Lobo's right arm with ink, I was like 😟: woh, you dare man! The result however is great. The story of creating a Star Wars comic book within 5 days with minimal sleep and a dayjob is beyond my comprehension. I love to draw, but to be honest I would be dead tired for a month. So an amazing, almost inhuman, achievement. Godspeed 😊
Check out my drawing course! www.proko.com/s/nkat?af=019176
I am humbled every time I see you draw. It motivates me to work harder to get better. Thank you!
Love this man and his artstyle !!

Good stuff man, your vids are helping a ton! Thanks!
Awesome artwork! I still have the artbook you signed from Comiket 95, seeing it inspires me to get back to my sketchpad on the daily!
Discovered Lobo when I was maybe 10, at a dollar store in my neighborhood. The art was insane! Instant fan. It was next to Ghostrider!
awesome show of artistic skills

Does anyone know which white acrylic pen that is?
EDIT: TOOLI Art paint pen.
i remember this was on finch stream :)
I remember using my Ninja Turtle toys for anatomy reference.
Nothing can screw you like traditional inking. One bad move at the end and the whole picture goes to hell.
Huge fan of your work. 🇰🇷
What is the brand name of the white acrylic pen you use??
I think someone said it was the TOOLI paint pen
@@cheddarcheezit2647 thank 😊 you
Been going on auto-pilot until I realized my deep stupidity. Sadly many people do not.

Traditional is a strong word. I thought you'd be using a dip pen or something lol
If only respond well to crucial and critical comments. If only !!!
I learned drawing anatomy using the Big Jim series of action figures from the 1970s
