Cascadia Flare is an amazing arcane. Perhaps one that has flown under the radar. In fact, if you don't need the headshot multipliers, reload bonuses or -recoil the standard arcanes give, Flare is much more forgiving. Not only does it give 480% base damage instead of 360%, but it also doesn't even require kills! The catch? It activates on heat procs. Not DoTs ticking, but procs. But this is ok, because Heat is an amazing status to start with. For weapons that are hybrid viable and have decent fire rate, this is the premiere PISTOL arcane to equip now. That's right, unfortunately it can only be used on pistols.
Unlike Cascadia Empowered, niche to Kompressa and Catabolyst, or Cascadia Overcharge, whichwas even more niche, Flare is universal for all pistols so long as they can be built hybrid. Beams benefit the best as their tickrate allows them to max Flare's bonus instantly, which requires 40 heat procs. The best shiners are chain beams and innate heat beams. These include the Nukor, Atomos, Gaze and Cycron family. Chaining means more enemies to hit, whereas options like Atomos and Tenet Cycron are pure heat, instantly maxing stacks.
The secret is where you use this arcane. Survival, it works amazingly well. But for Disruption, you typically have a Demolyst-killing weapon that has massive downtime. Usually you have a dedicated fodder-killer, and lack spawns unlike Survival. For these cases, a weapon that instantly charges up base damage on heat procs is better, especially with the current Stack Decay Bug when this video was released. What happens when you mix this with Heat Inherit, another premiere tech to destroy Demolysts relying on Heat procs? That's the secret, you'll have to watch to find out!

@@PixRayzoR it is mentioned in the video. It’s actually a haven augment, not a pillage augment, so can only be used by her.

Tenet cycron has been my favorite beam weapon for a while now. Nukor does more damage but cycron just feels better to use due to no reloading
Ngl I bet the kitgun gaze (might not be gaze but what ever the one that chains is) secondary going hard rn, pretty much the same and kitguns getting higher dispo atm
Oh, Atomos. My very first riven in this game. Given to me for free by a stranger who said "your the first person I met that actually uses this thing". 1000hrs later I still use it occasionally. This game has such a nice community.
Did you know that Atomos is actually getting an Incarnon Form pretty soon? Dust off your riven and get ready to shred :D

been using cascadia flare on Kuva nukor and it is able to do crowd clearing effectively. now we can use our favourite primary and melee without going AoE route.

I have heat magnetic viral on my Cyron and boy, this melts anything! If shields or not, armor or not does not matter. Cascadia Flare makes it even more powerful. Seriously amazing beam weapon ❤
Wow. Honestly this was hard to keep track, so i rewatched it a few times and pretty much was amazed at the arcane. Literally DE made that for Heat Inherit Setups and even if like half of the video stopped talking of the arcane im glad they did something off meta like that arcane for setups like this.
I wont be doing them as i dont find heat inherit fun, but im still getting that Arcane for my Tenet Cycron

I'm not super clear on the mechanics but is there a way to use a double kitgun setup that uses Demulcent and Boils to transfer Heat properties to Seeker bolts?
You mentioned for the Atomos to mod it like the Cycron but to use Galv Crosshairs and P Pistol Gambit to reach 91.05% CC, but in the mod section you have P Target Cracker. Now I have a Riven and I'm trying to figure out which slot to use it in and the stats I should roll for, and for that I want to know if I should get CC or CD on it (and +Heat obviously). Or maybe I should replace Galv Shot? What are your thoughts on the ideal Atomos Riven HI Build?

Looks like im getting a heat cycron and putting thermal transfer on my gauss…heck, I might do a thermal transfer loadout for my Revenant just so I can run roar, add unairu or vastilok for armor strip and go. To. Town!
Does the value of heat damage affect the value of the heat dot on the status effect?

On your Bubonico primer, wouldn't it be better to use Hell's Chamber for 120% MS in place of a measly 40% extra status chance with Shotgun Savy?
6-9 shots (~6.6 average) with ~160% status chance averaging ~10.56 statuses/burst vs. essentially a strict 3 shots with ~210% status chance averaging ~6.3 statuses/burst?

Hey i dont know if this works on pc but if you use xatas whispers on incarnon weapons it will reactivate and will have infinite ammo

To inherit heat I have a Convectrix with +damage and +heat riven, blaze, 60-60 and 90 heat mods. But I was wondering about one thing :
What if I use protea's blazing artillery after that? Isn't it better if I was using a weapon with heat but a very big base damage?
HI protea actually works very well. Because heat abilities are treated as having 0% elemental heat on them. As in, the base damage itself is heat with no “mods” on the ability. So using a shotgun to primer with 210% heat + riven will multiply the heat dots of blaze artillery by 3.1x + riven%

As a heavily invested Ember player does this mean I'm nerfing myself by using her meteors or immolate to give enemies heat procs before attacking with a weapon? Meaning the weapon heat procs stack instances of a weak base damage?
it probably wont be fixed before tenno con since they still havent fixed the necraweb progression stopper that removes your weapon and causes new war to be very hard to play
Blazing pillage build everything in the area gets heat procd constantly so you'd always have the buff.
1:54 I don't think this arcane is very useful for acolytes or liches, heat procs are bad for doing damage to them so you will not only need to have both another enemy to proc the arcane off (just like the rest of the arcanes) on top of needing a primer to trigger heat for said arcane in the first place. Granted only one extra enemy is needed, and the damage buff is a little stronger than the rest, but if you are going to bother setting that much stuff up I think you are just better off using a simple heavy attack melee for acolytes and a crewmate summon/actual specialized banshee build for liches instead.
But still, this video is a very good reminder about a lot of nice stuff, eg. I forgot that this arcane was even added and that it's actually one of the better additions too, and also its good to signal boost the decay bug for those who don't follow people that have talked about it yet too.
heat is buggy there is a trick i believe how it works is all of the heat procs take the damage of the most recent weapon's heat proc meaning you can give alot of heat procs using a primer weapon but then use a stronger weapon to boost the damage up.

Kuva/tenet weapons with heat progenitor does not contribute to heat dot. The game see that as part of the weapon's base damage.

If you have 1 bullet only in mag each shot is buffed by primed chamber, 1 shot, reload, repeat

@@judehaylesa Her DR is sketchy and unreliable. Drains energy and not consistent. Like what the actual fuck. You want to get more DR, but then you're out of energy fast. But if you get rid of the DR, then your 3 has no power until it ramps up again. It's just a badly designed gameplay loop. I mean her 4 is better than what it was before, but her 2 and 3s "synergy" is just bad.
@@proximityclockworkx1572 its possible to maintain immolation using her 4s augment, energize and zenurick as well as smartly using her 3. Not gonna act like I wish it wasn't less aids on energy though.
@@judehaylesa Yeah that, or Spectrorage with it's augment + a good dps weapon.
The reason I don't like her it's that she constantly have to cast stuff in order to sustain herself. Not really flexible. Not a fan of shield gate meta, so I'd want the DR to be functional and less "aids" on the energy as you said xd
Does the damage boost from flare only apply to weapons or does it work on your warframe’s actual ability damage. I want to beef up my speed clearing Titania 🙂
Weapon arcanes don't affect abilities, including exalted weapons even if you use another weapon of the same type to build a stack. For example secondary merciless stacks won't effect mesa's peacemakers

Doesn't work since it's on your secondary and does not dmg buff regulators you can proc the heat to stack it but it won't do much else

from my testing flare only procs if YOU make the heat procs teammates can not proc it for you i havent tested specters but i am guessing it wont proc
