When I saw the big, slow-moving projectile coming out of the Felarx I thought it was going to be an explosion, instead it just did nothing as apparently its hitbox is even smaller than the effect, landed on the floor right next to another enemy and petered out pathetically. The Felarx's secondary not only is hard to aim, it takes twice as long to kill anything because you can't hit nearly as many headshots and you don't even get that many shots out of the incarnon form. The incarnon form is like a defective Laetum, the only hope I have for it is when I get to unlock its fifth evolution.
This has quickly taken over my favorite weapon slot with the negative critchance riven combined with revenant using xatas whisper is absolutely insane 😁
Thanks for your build tips! It helped me fix my build up. I been using it since it came out and have a good riven for it. I felt it was so bad at first, but stuck with it and had to buy some mods to make it work like primed tactical pump is one… My conc lusion and final build testing.. The felarx is one of the best shotguns in the game! It stands it ground and still one shots after a hour in sp kuva survivals. It can one shot level 5 liches and is a beast in index, but runs out of ammo too fast. Honestly its what I wish the arca plasmor could do because now any other gun I use now pales in comparison. The incarnon version I use for fun now and then. I notice it has way better range so I’ll use it to snipe and it works good. Currently I am fine with how it is, but they could buff the incarnon version. Either way the weapon is very fun and I did enjoy the building process was way different than how the standard builds are.
I don't know when it happened, but the non-incarnon no longer has infinite body punch through. The incarnon form does now. There's still no explosion with the incarnon's impact, but there is a slight thickness to the projectile. You can miss a little bit and still hit
I think I have a really simple fix for the Incarnon mode: give it pellets instead of single shot. The difference is all down to the way it goes from shotgun to single-shot, with none of the mods that benefit a shotgun actually truly benefiting the pistol. Being able to mod both modes as a shotgun… that would at least make more sense.
@@Thaylien the pyrana is a shotgun pistol which after three kills becomes a dual shotgun pistol. You’re comment just makes the incarnon form the pyrana
@@adarkwind4712 Fun fact; shotgun mods would (if they were able to actually be put on the Pyrana) be beneficial to the gun because they're made for weapons with innate multi-shot. 'Making something the Pyrana' is a weird take on the situation because you can have dual secondaries with innate multishot that are not the Pyrana. Maybe instead we'd make it the Twin Rogga? Or how about just keep the exact same firing mechanics we do now, with the same accuracy and spread, but break the damage dealt down into multi-shot pellets so that they can actually benefit from the way we mod Shotguns.
Great content as always! I only use the incarnon mode if I'm running low on ammo. Normally ammo is topped off by the time incarnon mode is used up or switch back manually for tough enemies ^_^
The gun actually is improperly displaying damage, it is doing two shots which converge and explode on impact on one spot for incarnon. My incarnon actually deals more damage than my normal mode. It actually is two projectiles not one, i only noticed because when it fires without any multishot you can see two bullet trails but one projectile when viewing it on diagonal or side view shots. The felarx is my favorite incarnon weapon. Honestly i use both modes because the incarnon is beastly especially with gas and magnetic it flatlines anything honestly but very few people actually use gas nowadays.
In my experience weapon truly shines while utilizing infinite punch through. Status version + Xata whisper annihilates whole groups of enemies in ONE shot if you lucky on void proc. Orbiting projectiles causes chain reaction, and somehow(maybe because Xata whisper is separate damage instance) dont lose much of a damage as it suppose to. It's like void-buffed exergris, but A LOT stronger and projectile-orbiting time is really long.

I don't like incarnon mode, at least in this game- I play for the fast mass murder, and slowing down for headshots isn't fun, or gets me killed. I think I'll actually farm this one, all the others put me off. Thanks!👍
Do you think it's possible to have a viable, synergistic loadout by equipping all 3 incarnon weapon types? Based on the requirements for incarnon evo V it seems like DE wants us to equip all of them. (I also think that its cool for fashion reasons) but since none of the incarnons work as primers (unless we take into account copium) i think the performance of melee weapons would suffer. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
The melees are too strong to use as primers for the guns because of their bleed, but in theory you can use the projectiles of innodem to prime for laetum or phenmor. You can also use laetum or phenmor to prime for the melee, though idk which one would be better in that case as a gun primer. Phenmor’s issue is it might still kill because of slash on the Incarnon, but an actual primer laetum might be possible, albeit annoying to charge up when it empties for use as just a primer
Hey Azn, I don't know if i'm correct, but while I was testing some random weapons in the simulacra i switched into incarnon mode on the Felarx, and I was surprised to see that the weapon was alot better than in the past. Checking the wiki, I saw some buffs in terms of damage, but now the projectiles also feel totally different! Seemed like an "arca plasmor type shots" with infinite body PT. Could you check if now it's actually worth using the weapon in her evolved form? :D
It’s better than they used to be, and is actually usable now. I tried last week, it’s still not as good as the non-Incarnon imo. But the build options haven’t really changed on the Incarnon form either.
How does the Felarx compare to the Cedo? I want to use an Incarnon weapon and am tied between it and the Laetum. If the Felarx is better than the Cedo then I would rather it than the Laetum, even if it is weaker than the Laetum.
Im toying with a molt augmented regenerative molt build to pair with this gun and fractilized reset. Since you have to ability spam for fractilized and molt casts effortlessly i liked the idea of squeezing extra health out of the ability. Any tips you can give for Warframe of choice and build?
Generally anything that is either low animation, or is a spammable CC ability. So anything with Airburst/Larva/Ensnare/Coil Horizon/Breach Surge/Radial Blind. Pillage with Blazing Pillage on Hildryn. Instant cast frames are generally not Helminth'able abilities, but includes stuff like Volt Speed and Saryn Molt. I don't usually use this interaction as much, so none other come to mind atm.
The only way I managed to make incrarnon mod good is with gas electricity and Mag bubbles. It one shoot most of the times and it's convenient for ammo economy and it performed better than the Phenmor, but that's kinda copium since with Mag everything projectile based is op.
@@Aznvasions I think you should re look at Nataruk's interaction with Magnetize and Xata's Whisper now that it's been fixed. I think you'll find the results quite interesting, to say the least.

Lmao they buffed it alright. +100 damage and slightly bigger bullets. Wow (although unlike your video it says on wiki it also has infinite body punch through)
PS one funny interaction you can add to fractalized reset builds is Nano Applicator. it probably does shit for DPS compared to Cleanse, but, eh, it's fun for Galv Savvy and bonus Reload in one cast :D

Cool, builds, but I don't think I'll put any forma into it unless they make the incarnon mode worth using.
Ayyyyy.....
Im the 420th like....
I'm lit...
Get it? Cause it's 420? And you light it???
*PROCEEDS TO HEAD OUT*
Hey Azn, I don't know if i'm correct, but while I was testing some random weapons in the simulacra i switched into incarnon mode on the Felarx, and I was surprised to see that the weapon was alot better than in the past.
@@Aznvasions nice to know! Thanks for the answer man
Incarnon form objectively worse? Yes. Looks cool and is fun to use? Also yes
my playstyle is to use normal mod (auto shotgun) as a way to clear heavy troops and the incarnon mod (simi pistols ) as a way to clear trash
I have a riven for this weapon and i dont know if it worth it. I'll look for negative crit chance for sure, multishot and reload speed maybe?
yes It is worth it, but only if it’s negative crit chance.
How does the Felarx compare to the Cedo? I want to use an Incarnon weapon and am tied between it and the Laetum. If the Felarx is better than the Cedo then I would rather it than the Laetum, even if it is weaker than the Laetum.
is there an update for the incarnon build because of the buff?
As usual great video. What’s melee at 23:49 did you use. I know it wasn’t a xoris
18:11 has the info on that primer :)
@@Aznvasions many thanks
I'm pretty sure if they put auto trigger and infinite punch trough to the incarnon mode it would be top tier
You could call it the Incarnot. The Incar-non.
Why is the weapon shooting upward lmao.
Great video btw
I’m trying a gas setup with this weapon and I just wanted to know if it’s worth it or not
Honestly I don't think it's incarnon form is disappointing, just alil on the slow side.
Good to see incarnon weapons already feeling stale/failing their own premise.
So are you saying to swap the prime bane mods depending on the enemy type or leave it vs grineer
Can leave as grineer, weapon is strong enough it doesn’t really need to swap for other factions
@@Aznvasions what can I use until I get prime bane?
@@xanderbassett2149 regular
what if you combined the aero set with gas lavos or something so you can constantly cc even eximus units
I just got a riven for this weapon with DMG and Slash, is it good? I don't even have the weapon yet actually haha.
I feel like its incarnon should have been an arm Canon
do you keep the dmg buffs when doing a holster reload?
What dmg buffs
@@noahedenborg4221 dunno man, this was 11 months ago lmao
I think they buffed/fixed the Incranon Mode for the Felarx
Only slightly
I would like to see the incarnon mode of felarx transform into a single shot maybe 5 to 8 m wide with increased damage kind of like the battacor.
i find the new weapons quite pog
it's definitely a fun one
@@Aznvasions thankyou!
Wait, the primary fire has infinite enemy punch through?!
*Subsumes Xata's Whisper with malicious intent*
Yo, the incarnon mode got changed in the Veilbreaker update. Time for an updated build
It got slightly buffed. The non-Incarnon is still noticeably better
What do you recommend for level 9999 demolists?
Any raw damage Felarx non-incarnon setup with Xata's Whisper is the general recommendation
I now will use this for eido hunting bc why not
Did they buffed the incarnon? Or is still trash?
Slightly better
The only way I managed to make incrarnon mod good is with gas electricity and Mag bubbles. It one shoot most of the times and it's convenient for ammo economy and it performed better than the Phenmor, but that's kinda copium since with Mag everything projectile based is op.
are projectiles really better in tornados than hitscan?
not necessarily, just has interesting physics interactions that can be useful
@@Aznvasions I think you should re look at Nataruk's interaction with Magnetize and Xata's Whisper now that it's been fixed. I think you'll find the results quite interesting, to say the least.
THE ONLY BAD THING in this video is the GOD damn particles omg XD
Hello azvasion, Wouldn’t you make a video of Cascadia Flare and Cascadia Empowered?
Flare I’m working on. Empowered, is the Kompressa video from two weeks ago
@@Aznvasions Ohh, i forgot 😅
If the incrnon form had aoe it would have been a fun and good designed weapon but so it's just a shotgun
Man, you so overkilling for this weapon. I tried it and didn't like it, mostly because of annoying reload. Don't know if I would forma it and complete the build...
Gj ty
Lmao they buffed it alright. +100 damage and slightly bigger bullets. Wow (although unlike your video it says on wiki it also has infinite body punch through)
PS one funny interaction you can add to fractalized reset builds is Nano Applicator. it probably does shit for DPS compared to Cleanse, but, eh, it's fun for Galv Savvy and bonus Reload in one cast :D
Maybe ill use ivara go invis i guess you have to run multiple times to get the 20
Broken down like this it feels like they had major oversight into the Felarx incarnon. Way outta character compared to the rest.
How could we fit Riven into this?
Well see what the riven can replace
Thank god this wasn't hit during Veilbreaker cause that would be SO not cool.
Interesting video! 🍒😃
Could u try vazarin Lavos?
I see a miniature airburst and i-frame spam. Is there anything else I'm missing? It looks like a stock survivability setup to me.
1:08 & 2:06 *CAVA - LERO* not CAVA - LLERO
Why do you keep pronouncing Cavalero like it's the spanish word caballero? They're not the same
ok
Cheers for spoiler warning, not played in like 6 or 8 months.
21:08 trick shooting what a show off. lol
Just say it, "this felarx gun sucks
Why do you call him Caviero? *cringe*
