Ride to your ability and yours only don't try and keep up with someone that has more ability and knowledge. If you get trash talked on being slow then they aren't the group to ride with.
This is why I always ride my ride. Safe and slow cuz I know I am not that good rider and don't wanna practice on public roads and do crazy lean angles. 15+ years on 2 wheels, and that saved me many times.
His turn in points way to soon, when you lean off the basic idea is to push bike away from lean, initiating counter steering,, once you establish lean and line adding more lean in middle of turn is recipe for crash. If you have to add lean, better to straighten up and re establish line if speed is slow enough or lean off more while pushing bike in a more upright position, hook turn. Dude wasn’t killing it, it was obvious from first few turns he was going to crash. Looks better doing it the right way at slow speeds vs wrong way at a fast pace. Slow it down, learn proper lines and pace then over time slowly increase pace. It will save many a lot of money.

The foot peg should have the ball of your toe on it. Just remember controlled gears in fast and then powerout. Lots of vids about that can help just remember all corners are different the object of hanging off any bike while going around any corner is to keep the bike in the optimal safe upright position. Just swinging your leg out to look cool don't cut it, all the best.

Could've been a few things. Did he add throttle while attempting to lean more? What were the tire pressures? Body positioning is a bit off. Turning your knee out is fine to help change direction a bit, but having body weight put inside while still aggressively leaning is trouble. The more weight off the bike requires less lean angle. That's the whole point of body positioning. You throw weight inside to decrease lean angle not to add it. Anyway, nice bike. Rider was decent enough. Peer pressure to push it causes a lot of problems. Crashes are never just because of one thing. Multiple factors combined make a perfect shit storm. He's uninjured, no broken bones, no rash, no time spent in rehab. It sucks your bike got damaged but this wasn't that bad all things considered. Stay safe.

If your dragging knees you shouldn't need to lean the bike over so far, also absolutely no point in dragging knees on that turn, required maybe 15 degrees of lean angle
What I took away from the "I crashed again" video is this: Never ever ever ever try to keep up with a bike that has the latest traction control rider aids if you don't have equivalent tech on board.

The oil leaking out was a bit black, needed a change long time ago. Lean angles like that need a competent tire not a road tire, he relied to much on them at slow speeds, sitting a bit more upright and using body wait to counter the lean of the bike would help with tires that aren’t capable for the terrain. Racing softs are what this guy needs if the police don’t pull him and he can get away with using them. It’s not always good to get the knee and elbow down when you don’t have the right tire.

Oil on the road sucks, glad they made an attempt to clean it up. With full saddle tanks, dump trucks or 18 wheelers will sometimes spill diesel fuel in sharp, high bank corners….ask me how I know.

My take on it as well,although I do think it’s likely he was too heavy on the throttle while powering out of the curve.
It looks like the crashed rider was still accelerating while he was leaning extremely low.
