Suzuki rider is lucky that there wasn't a car or another bike coming around the corner at the same time he was going off the road. It's always bad luck when a rider wears Suzuki race boots riding a ZX10R.
Very lucky there was no oncoming traffic-, guy on a Kaw1000 did that to me down by the lake in 1996. He blew the turn and was headed right at me on a Honda VTR 1000, so I counter steered left, cut the mustard, and took his spot which was the left wheel path in the opposing lane and me his partner coming behind who was in the right wheel path. Basically split them, rode for a couple min shaken turned around, went back to store where I met the two riders- he didn't intend to almost kill both of us. Can only attribute it to skills learned on the racetrack- just did a trackday with the VTR the week before. But I stopped going there in 2007 when Kelly Brown on a R1 hit a tree and was killed chasing me on a KTM 625 SMC. I think at that same corner.
