Thanks for the mini-review...we're on the fence for a LiveU Solo Pro, but more for bitrate-reasons:...we hope it will be able to stream 20Mbps @ 1080 as compared to the 8 Mbps the LiveU Solo has as a maximum...

Please keep in mind that with HEVC you effectively get the same quality with half of the bitrate. So in that cass 4 Mbps should give the same result as 8 Mbps on the old LiveU solo

Amazing that the reliability, data rate are all working together for no drop outs. This is totally next generation tools, and they are here now.

@@TechCondo Hoi Petra, thanks for your answer....Maybe you can help me since you have the unit at hand. I just got off the phone with a LiveU salesman but he couldn't give me the info I need, which is : What's the maximum bitrate for a 1080x1920 stream ( HEVC then...) Can you perhaps find some info bitrate/depht-wise in the settings menu? (example: 1080p, 50fps, high audio). Alvast bedankt. Groet, Johan

@@dantemedia2024 What is the use case? 20 Mbps over HEVC for just 1080p? Sounds like a lot!
If the Solo doesn't fit your needs maybe you should explore LiveU's broadcast lineup..

Thank you for the video! Why to a cloud server? Have you tried direct to vmix in your studio and for the OB try using peplink router for a fixed ip to bring in the SRT feeds.
