Thank you!!! You made things a bit clearer for me. Using SRT one way instead of vMix Call was the best tip. I need to watch more of your stuff. I have a LiveU Solo that I have really never used. Have had it for a couple years now. Maybe I'll learn something from you about that as well.😊
Hey Petra! I am first time visitor of your channel. Thank you so much for the useful information! Liked and subbed. Greetings from Moscow, Russia! PS Loved the Wall-e little figure. I mean they are all great, but Wall-e is my favourite! =)
Pavel, welcome! Great to see you like my content. If you have any questions or comments, let me know. And yes, Wall-E is defintely one of my favorites.
Q:. I just purchased a liveU Pro with the LRT service. This will allow me to do the SRT destination on liveU. I really like your video it helps but I'm still confused on how do we figure out an open port on my desktop. I would also like to try this outside of my house network to a friend. Basically sending a stream from a remote location to his vmix workstation at his house. I understand I need to get his IP address but I'm still confused on what port can I use to get away with around the firewall? Do you think you could do a video setting a liveU with vMix? I believe I am close but I'm still trying to figure out a couple settings on vmix and on the liveU. Thank you for all the great videos you do.
Q I was looking at the new LiveU Solo Pro and doing remote events and sending it back a vMix workstation basic to a house not near the venue. How hard is it to set that up with someone? Using vMix and LiveU Solo? Thanks

30:06 - That's very useful to know - how to calculate the delay time. That was not explained in vMix's own video on how to set up an SRT link.

You will need to setup a RTMP server yourself to retrieve the video from the LiveU Solo. This is however a fantastic idea for a show
Very interesting. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video - thanks - Can you explain a little more on HEVC v H264 (4MBPS same as 8MBPS) - can you link anything article about this?
What are the srt settings for the laptop that's calling?
Great explanation but, do I need to enable SRT on the system that will be receiving the signal?
Did you test Kiloview SRT to vMix? Or to Kiloview D300?
Hey Saskia, no, not yet, however I will very likely give it a spin in a couple of weeks
What do I need to get in addition vMix to get started with SRT?
Nothing, just a good internet connection and an end-point which can be also a vMix system.
im trying to send signal from vmix to obs with SRT, but I cant :( idk if you can helpme with some questions,
Thnx!
Thinking of creating a SRT series. What questions do or did you have?
Talk too much lady
