    My friend had neighbors like this when they lived on a farm in the northeast. Her dad started tilling his fields at 3am. They tried filing a noise complaint, and the cops basically told them that a farm is a business and they can get bent. They simmered down a lot after that

      We had a small farm across the street from me in a suburban area. They peopably worked days. They did farming work at night and it never bothered me. I actually enjoyed it. The property was sold and houses were built. That was at least 20 years ago. I sure miss that farm.

    Here's the thing I can't understand why do people move out of the city into the country if they don't like the sound of farming or the smells

    • @puppetmasterey

      It's because they have an idealized version of country living in thier head. Everything's supposed to be nice and quiet, that's why they move to the country. For you see, only the city has nose.

    My advice, if you have warrants out for your arrest, don't go around being a jerk to your neighbors. The police may have an easier time finding you. Although if you weren't a jerk you wouldn't have the warrants in the first place.

    • @joelangelsanchez1581

      I’ve seen, heard & read stories about people with warrants being jerks in general and attracting police attention.
      There was a guy (with a warrant) recently calling 911 because he wanted fresh mcD fries but they said no….or something along those lines.

    I love the lawyer story for the simple fact that the entire cease and desist most likely wouldn’t have happened if that guys bragging hadn’t happened giving the lawyer the petty motivation to pour over the contract. That and the fact that it didn’t happen till the companies rebranding means he could have waited years before actually using what he learned fro the contract.

    As to the first story op should have sued the heck out of those arogant a hole neighbors for destruction of property the fee for the equipment rental his time for his work and the cost to repair the damage and have a lien put on their property to ensure payment and if possible ad intrest payments as we ad getting a restraining order and having them pay for a fence. As to the second story always have a signed contract. The his and and wife didn't have their priorities straight or actual knowledge of the law and the husband went back to jail and the child is the one suffering from the parents stupidity and it's their own fault. Now the tax payers will suffer to.

    In the first story, I’m calling BS. If the farmer can look out of his window and see where the pool had been, how did he not see a construction crew turn up on site and partly construct a pool. Also he would have told the builders to stop work as it was his land and not let them continue for another 7 days. The whole story doesn’t make sense.

    • @castors_fog
      @castors_fog 11 месяцев назад

      It's not the job of the contractor to do that leg work. It's up to the property owner to have all their paperwork in order. The contractor is only under contract to do the job they're paid to do, and to do it within code, not make sure that the owner has permission to do it in the first place.

    • @manxkin
      @manxkin 11 месяцев назад

      @@castors_fog Where I live it is often the job of the contractor to obtain the required permits. It may be included in the contract with the client. Apparently in this story no one obtain the required permits or surveys to build the pool.

    As to the fourth story that arogant jerk and his equally arogant co horts words and arogance bit them in the but big time. As to the last story the first time the jerk parked there op should have been the last time. While that creepy is in jail op should file a lawsuit for the damages and since the crerp has no assets take his truck. The crerp most likely parked there to avoid being found. Now he is where he belongs.

    I worked at Burger King when I was a kid on the night shift , and one night a very drunk customer comes in for an after drinking session feed . Orders 2 chicken burgers but extra cooked because apparently all of our burgers are raw and she doesn't eat raw food . Now we don't have a flat plate at burger king, it's a chain fed thing. You put your patties in on one side theyvget flame grilled and come out of the other side. So we try to explain that we can't just cook it a bit more . She gets angry and tells us to just put it through twice so it will be properly cooked . So I did.
    What came out looked like charcoal . So I put this cremated chicken on her burgers and with extra sause because hell, it needed it at that point and serve them up to her .
    Now I'm expecting a Karen style freak out after the first bite, but nope . She ate every single bite .
    Even came up to the counter to thank us profusely for cooking her burgers properly for the first time, and she will be back every weekend 😂

    In all these stories where something is illegally built on someone else's property they always want it tore down and do not let them finish it I do not understand that. I would let them finish thus costing them more money when it is tore down or take possession. If someone built a pool on my ground I would let them finish then get a restraining order to keep them off my property and enjoy free pool.

      Depends on the length. On one side, he's in construction so he and his sons put up a fence. However on the other side, all there is is a tree line. Putting up a real fence would cost a small fortune. If we had bad neighbors on that side, we'd find a different means but fencing wouldn't work.
