Our success in the laser engraving sector hasn't dampened our innovative DNA. Starting in early '22, our product team began contemplating how we might leverage laser technology to enhance efficiency and precision in a broader range of fields. After a year of exploration, we set our sights on the realm of graphic art design. With persistent efforts, today we are proud to introduce our first product that expands the horizons of laser applications: the xTool Screen Printer.
Redefining screen printing: Relying on convenient and precise laser engraving technology, this new device revolutionizes the workflow, making industrial-grade screen printing accessible to professionals and beginners alike.
Great product and great experience ! 奥利给!
What i get from this is that the XTOOL CEO is listening to his employers ideas. I freaking love it! And the honesty. I love it.
I am looking forward to get the S1 and the screenprinter setup hopefully sometime after Christmas.
Keep up the good work and passion.
Thanks!!!
I would love to see Xtool create a UV printer combined with a laser. That would be a game-changer in both the UV and laser industries.
im wait it
Looks like a fun product for screen printing
I've had it for over 1 week and am so in love with the whole system.
I wasn't sure if it was as great as the adverts promise, but it's even better than expected. Not only that, but I'm so glad I bought it through the Kickstarter campaign. Furthermore, I had no idea about lasers, but everything works so easy and out of the box. Hoping I can soon buy more screens for all my ideas and projects. Really, more than happy!🥰
I can't wait for this and start making shirts I have an m1 machine and made some ornaments and barely started but so excited for this !!!
Love the innovation! Plan to use!
Thanks Tom!!!
You should let us do your livestreams.
I use a cameo/cricut and 361 vinyl to do just about the same thing. (less detailed designs tho) I use a heat gun then a heat press for each shirt I make. One caveat is that the heat gun/hair dryer will dry the ink up on your screen after about 10 floods, so it will require good cleaning every 10 shirts.
Hopefully they come up with something a bit better for multi-color, bulk printing options for shirts. Also I'm looking for something a bit more efficient for the screen use. Knowing XTool, they will only improve this. :)
Xtool is killing it lately
Thanks!
I am very interested in getting this, can see the potential with my new business, am thinking seriously about buying this.

I am still in the process of setting up my new xtool D1 with extension rails, but I would love to have one of these to try!
Go for it!!!
Love love it ❤
That’s amazing, I will make a order! 🎉
I placed a new order , How many sheets do get to laser your design on? I ordered additional paint but couldn’t find where to order sheets. After you have used your sheet,is there a time span to re-use. I purchased mainly for t-shirts which sizes varies.
Wow, very cool idea 💡
I would love to try it ❤ and review it
This was interesting to watch. I'm especially referring to the screen printing part. The man had trouble speaking over the woman whom I found over controlling and in a hurry. Perhaps there should have been a dry run or two on this presentation off camera. Things got messy with the color printing and the woman was in a hurry to get it done. If people are watching the presentation, there should be no need to hurry things up. Take your time since a costumer who would purchase the products will take time to get the steps done. There was a lot of wasted ink that could have been put back into their corresponding containers but yet again, the lady was in a hurry to finish up. XTool products seem good. Also, how does a person purchase the emulsion product that needs to be applied onto the screen? And how does that emulsion need to be applied and "settled/cured"? Without that part, none of the rest of the processes will work. What equipment is required for the emulsion "settling/curing"? I feel you kind of skipped that part. The product is interesting and most likely full of potential, but the emulsion process is still unclear to me. I look forward to receiving feedback and info.
The screen comes with the emulsion on it. It's ready to laser when you receive it.
the comment above you goes over reusing the screens with mold release agent and then use photosensitive adhesive to recoat and solidify the stencil.
I am looking to buy the screen printing kit but first I need a couple questions answered, on it being used with a non Xtool laser.
1 What are the dimensions required?
2 What are the settings required…engrave? fill engraved?
3 How to attach frame?
Can you print on sweatshirts, in the sleeves? What about on jean material?
Yes! Can be done on sweatshirts and jeans!
Just ordered one of ythjese to keep things simple. One color screen prints are better than 1 color heat transfers. I already combine heat transfers with my embroidery machine. So paying $6.50 for a one color screen that my S1 laser machine will do and then throwing it into my embroidery machine to finalize the artowkr. I mean it s a no brainer...
Love the video, thank you! What would the power and speed settings be for a D1 Pro 10w laser?
This is absolutely amazing. I watched most of the video so sorry if you already mentioned. Would this work with a xTool P2
yes, they used an s1 so should work no problem
if you add cross hairs as the outside shape of the card you can line it up. Then just put tape over the cross hairs so they don't print
Hahahah DTF is on the house, no chance to screen printing any more!!😂😂😂
My basic kit didn't come with the positioning bracket for my S1
Where do I by that ?
Will you have a alignment tool also for the S1
Will this be available for the p2 any time soon?
Great video.Thank you! My question: How do you buy extra screens? I looked on your link and extra screens are not part of the accessory list. Maybe the screens will be added later but for now it keeps me from hitting the buy button. There is a FAQ about trying to make your own but IMO that defeats the purpose of the product.
would this work if I have a Glowforge in my classroom? I"m really trying to get the materials for screen printing into my room as my students are excited about it, but we're a super underfunded inner city school. Do the pre coated screens work with ANY lasergraver?
Europe When!?!?
I do flatbills 270 on normal hoop all the time
hi does anyone know how to heat set the inks as I remember the hosts saying they are water based, so once you have screen printed and once it is time to wash your t-shirt so the ink doesn't wash out, how do you heat set them or can I use my cricut heat press to heat set
it still not for sale in the Xtool UK website :(
An affordable flatbed UV printer would be nice.
It seems she likes to take over when he’s trying to say/do something. Talk about stepping on your bosses shoes! 😂
haha Jasen sometimes is a bit shy!
Wow, she is fluid In English He isn't
I was not able to attend the live yesterday. Was there any discussion on pricing of the screen replacements and also how many come with the original purchase of the multi color kit?
Screen replacements will cost $24.99 for 4 pieces. Additionally, the Multi Color and higher-tier combo packs will originally include 12 coated screens.
@xToollaser will the recoating emulsion ever be sold as well?
@@xToollaser, is one screen per shirt?
@@tkenney3540 based on reading a ton of comments ... if you do a full screen image, you are able to use the screen MANY times with that design. If you want to change the design, you will have to treat it like any screen, use a release agent to remove the emulsion, and then apply a photo sensitive emulsion etc to apply a new pattern/image.
@@tkenney3540 it depends on the how many colors, one screen is for one color
Can I use my M1 to laser the screens ?
Do you sell the positioning tool for S1? I dont see it on your website. Thanks
can we clean the screens after and reapply a new coat of emulsion to reuse the screens for a new design?
Yes! you can use a mold release agent suitable for ordinary stencils to remove the film from the xtool stencil, peel off the coating on it, and then use photosensitive adhesive to recoat and solidify the stencil.
Are you able to specify any particular brand of “photosensitive adhesive” to use in particular? what is used on the screens that you ship?
can you buy this in uk yet as cant find it on the internet anywhere
Is this system able to handle color halftones that would be required to get shading and color mixing like you would find on full color t-shirts?
YES. We have already tried printing many graphics on a half-tone screen. However, our software currently does not have the function of a halftone screen, so when making halftone screen color printing, you still need to prepare each layer of the color palette with PhotoShop before making the plate. In addition, to produce a more refined semi-tuned screen, parameters with higher line density are also required.
can the D1 PRO 5w be use to engrave the screen?
yes!!
I just don't like that you open up with the BASIC screen printer kit but you have to use the Frame Fitting kit from the Multi-color kit to do this video. Where can I buy the Frame Fitting piece for my S1 since I bought the BASIC kit?🙁
Will this work with P2?
When is this available?
Right now! Can click the link!
You guys have the S1 20 watt in the kickstarter. can the 40W S1 be used on the screens? or is that too low of resolution and too powerful?
yeah 20W is better for a better precision!
Can the screens be lasered on the M1?
Yes!!! But need to set up with M1 riser base! Can join our FB groups to discuss the details! facebook.com/groups/xtoolofficial
can you make it bigger? liek DinA3?
Can it be used with M1?
yes, but with a riser base!
@@xToollaser Can you give me some advice, I'm interested
Can it already be bought?
Can you reuse the screen after you burn a design in it exactly how does that work? Does it refill itself or do you have to throw away the screen?
They replied in another comment, you can re-use the screens, you just have to treat them like any other screen type, clean the emulsion off and apply a new one.

So I feel that Xtools support needs so much improvement. Also, in the future it might be beneficial to maybe pre-run the set up a few times before filming lol and it would be a good idea for the back plate to have a couple of loops or tags that you could pull on to take it out
thank you for your feedback!

I stopped watching after it was mentioned that the laser WAS NOT included. Nope.
the combo option includes laser
China made ?
Lol. 3M thermal copier, a technology that's been around for 80 years, probably about 1/10 the cost of this. This is just a "people really like table top gantry machines" lol.
How would someone use a thermal copier to screen print? I thought it just temporarily transferred and image and was more tattoo oriented
@@scottyboy6269 Basically works the same way as making a tattoo stencil. The screen comes on a roll, you cut to size. Take the image you want to screen make a copy, has to be a toner not inkjet copy. Make a sandwich of the two, put it through the thermal copier and it burns it into the screen. No photo emulsion no rinsing the screen needed.
@@scottyboy6269 Forgot to say specifically its not standard screen material. It already has a film on it.
@@scottyboy6269 how do you reuse the screen if you’ve already burnt into it with the laser
@@hacklabdesign You can't, not sure where that question came from were you trying to ask james, he did answer that you use the thermal copier to BURN the stencil in that would normally just be a temporary tattoo transfer.
Warhol and lasers?! (not included)
Hot garbage hard pass
Please let him finish and don't stress like that. You often sound like a squirrel with too much coffee.
hahah Twiggy was trying to help
@@xToollaser It's nice of her, but in western culture it's very rude to interrupt other people. Otherwise you do the videos very well, but as I said it often comes across as a bit stressed and uncoordinated.
@@Merlinhexer Thanks for the feedback, and we will be more considerate next time!
THIS IS A MUCH MUCH CHEAPER THAN THAT EXPENSIVE RISO GOCCOPRO MACHINES! OR THAT MISCREEN A4

@@xToollaser no halftone ability…sad.
