The Echo Pop is a small smart voice assistant speaker that has improved controls and a forward facing speaker for good sound quality in small rooms like bed rooms. With the Alexa voice assistant built in you can ask the Echo Pop questions like "What's the weather today", ask it to play music or even tell you a joke.
How To Set Up New Echo Pop:
1. Download and install the Amazon Alexa App. Login to the app.
2. It's important that you login to the Amazon Alexa app before you set up the Echo Pop and have your phone next to you before you plug in the device.
3. Plug in the Echo Pop.
4. The Echo Pop will automatically set itself up on the Amazon Alexa app after one minute, just wait 1-2 minutes after you plug in the Echo Pop for it to go through the set up sequence on your phone.

I think bc when you say Alexa, the device thinks your talking to it. So when he was giving instructions he didn't want to activate her to respond until he meant to 👍
