This guy's attitude of "I love this game, I want to buy it" is like from that meme of a professional coming back home after a hard day of work and then booting up the video game simulator of the job they just came home from xD
Lmao
I work at a gas station and ppl try to get me to be the same thing on erlc roblox
@@MAX_ADRENALIEN_9 i work in the mines then come home to play minecraft.

as a fellow mechanic, i wish our jobs were as easy as this game makes it look 🤣
Bro, so true.
lol just drag and drop parts on ?
@@M0DFATH3R ah yes of course
Would be nice if the lifts were self adjusting...... just put it year make and model and the lift adjusts right to your lift points
Where is the hammer part?

As a tech myself since i was 16 and ASE certified as well. I have 15/18/21, they are so detailed and an utter blast to play. It's pretty real especially 21 adding fluid addition and draining. It can get way more detailed if they wanted to, brake bleeding would be great but i don't think most people can handle the tedious work that is a car mechanic. I worked in New England, I'm used to rust. Great video guys.
i sometimes wish our jobs were as easy as this game makes it look lmao
first time i lifted a car in CMS18 i said the same thing he did in the video.. "Oh if only it was that easy.." but i do agree 100% though.. especially when you get way down deep into the engine internals.. i love doing a complete engine teardown and restore in these games.. being a retired and disabled tech these games scratch a particular itch..
You should try out Wrench. Should be pretty cheap and although it only includes the Miata, it's extremely detailed.
How accurate would you say this game is in your line of work?
Its a great tool for learning how stuff generally works and goes together i feel. I’d definitely feel more comfortable doing my own engine stuff now that ive played 21. Playing this genuinely feels like it’s teaching me things. Al be it in a simplified manner.
Depending how this goes it should become a series.
Farmer plays farming simulator, Trucker plays American Truck Simulator, Racecar driver plays Asseto Corsa competizione and landscaper plays lawn mowing simulator
why american and not euro truck simulator?
@@11kimczi I assumed that they would get an American Truck driver, since it's an American channel. I heard eurotruck simulator is better though.
Goat plays goat simulator?
@@marcusgrosomanidis3396 That's not a bbbaaaadddd idea
PC building simulator is dope too!
8/10 accuracy to realistic car mechanics is much better than I expected from this simulation.
Yeah me too, then my summer car must be 11/10. xD
@@budadiMy god the pain 😊
@@hisholinesslordpotato Yes, I did the whole car 2 or 3 times in permadeath mode, then I felt that my bloodpressure wasnt good. So I switched permadeath off. 😂 😂
idk 8/10 feels high. Imo its more like a 6/10. My summer car and Wrench game are like 8.5/10. Nothing truly gets it right because if they did it wouldnt be a game anymore and nobody would play it lol
As someone that didn't know diddly squat about cars i really enjoyed playing car mechanic simulator. Im a tech person so I deeply understand computers both on a mechanical level and from a computer science perspective and that knowledge has been endlessly practical to me. So not knowing anything about the car i drive everyday always bothered me knowing there is a wealth of information that would also be practical to my everyday life. The game changed that for me, I highly recommend it.
Have you tried My summer car? That games is both hillarious and the car is really good to learn from.
@@budadi Never heard of it. I'll check it out thanks
Just got it already know the basics and most about tires/wheels since I used to work at a tire shop. I can’t wait to try this game.
Nice, I have exactly the same background, so this comment made me want to play it. Thanks!
@@budadiomg not that game 🤣🤣🤣
This game really helped me understand almost all actual mechanical parts of the engine. I try to be a diy mechanic on my car and i feel i could do a lot of the work, except when it actually comes to electricals and sensors and more complicated stuff that isn't in cms
I just tried it now. Im a bodytech and don't really work on engines or mechanical parts much, radiators and grilles, yes. I really like how this game shows the suspension and steering parts detailed, and bushings, thats what i needed
Please invite this guy again and make more episodes with him
He is so chill and cool
He needs to stream himself too. I'd watch him on Kick all day
That’s dope that his MOM taught him everything
Not that groundbreaking that his mom taught him something
@@lecheese6190 yeah but at the same time it is awesome to have women in the car space teaching as it is generally men.
Haha these woke channels like Jubilee and Buzzfeed strategically choose these outlier SJW mfers just to be "inclusive". Like what are the odds of you meeting a black mechanic who sounds like a valley girl and learned how to fix cars from his mom?😂
@SirClassen It adds to his point so what are you talking about?
@@calebv4016agreed sir
This guy his hilarious and these edits just make it better!
I’m currently going to school to be a mechanic and the instructor recommended this game to me just to get a reference on where and how things work outside of school. It really does help and I’m passing test easily. Physically though it’s not accurate 😂
Alright this guy is fucking awesome. Works on cars (which I love) and is a delight. Definitely do a part 2.
@Thawne why do anything at all?
This guy definetely has zero enemies. Love his attitude
hahaha his mood is something else man, i love how he takes off the headphones to tell a story, and that he has a lot of stories too hahaha he being happy makes me happy haha.
You can click on the star next to the task and it will highlight the part within the car. If you want to learn more or just like to fix cars, I highly recommend the game. I always tell myself "one more order then I'm going to bed" to only go to the junkyard and rebuild a car from scratch and go to bed at 4am lol.
Ill have to rewatch it until they do part two.
This guy is just awesome.
I need a part 2 with this dude
That is my BIGGEST pet peeve about the game. (At least by 2018 standards) is the garage is a mess. One option to pick up like 4 pieces of trash… that’s it!! Ugh. 😂
He is going to turn himself into a convertible
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
Let's go
LESS GOOO 🚗
This guy sounds like so much fun I love his energy
Fellow technician over here! Love this game and love this video. The game is definitely more geared towards non technicians because of its simple and easy game play but then how many people would play it, if it was like irl 😂. I work at a BMW dealership in Sweden and I'm used to over done solutions and rust so it's quite nice to just sit down and relax in your own virtual workshop with all of your projects and customer cars.
Would I change anything? Yes I would like a more realistic game play, would it ruin the experience? YES!
I wish you fellow technicians a great lige because without us the world would literally grind to a halt 😂
Part two please with him🤲🏿
You sweet?
I'd definitely take my car to this guy for servicing. Great attitude, insightful, solid work ethic, humourous. I just started playing CMS2021 myself, and am enjoying it just as much as he did.
We need more content of him!
I'm 14 and I just began using this game because I'm interested in becoming a mechanic when I get older. my grandparents are bringing me an old Briggs and Stratton 2hp engine to work on so I can learn a bit more about how they work
Good luck 😄
Love that for you like actually
Please look up the video "comprehensive understanding of the difference between 2 stroke and 4 stroke" you'll be glad you did even if you already understand the difference, trust me.
That fuel pump bit is super relatable lol
I have a 76 El Camino I'm working on and took the entire gas tank off (it needed it anyway, it's holier than a nun) only to find out the fuel pump is up front near the carburator (opposite side of the engine, on the bottom, but close)
I have a lot of Mechanic friends that help out with my cars and I visually see the struggles they go through. It is a real backbreaking type of work. So respect as far as that goes. I’m also starting to play this because I’m hoping I can learn the guts, all the ends and outs of a vehicle. Hopefully eventually I will feel a lot more confident tackling on some mechanical work myself.
more of him please!!!
As Mechanic the last 30 years i can say this sim is the bomb, love it so much
I love the car mechanic input you give.
Malachite Perry is a great story teller! And I love the car mechanic series!
There's 10 minutes I'll never get back.
But in the alternate universe where time can be turned back, I would go back and watch it again.
This guy is fucking great. His energy and side stories are so engaging . Love it
I love this dude, he treated the camera person like they were his therapist.
My 2006 Buick Lucerne has an access panel in the back of the trunk for the fuel pump and it's a god send.
This guy is hilarious! 10/10 watch, will come back lol
7/10 is really good for a simulator! Loved the stories and comments from Malachite!
This guy needs his own youtube channel, he is great :D
I’m going to college next year for mechanic work. I know some stuff about cars, but I got this game and I’m learning more about them.
Y'all pls give this man a series! Have him teach us to work on our own oil change too lol
Best video on this channel summer 2022
I need to see an unedited full version of this video so I can learn from his expertise and also get an accurate estimation of the realisticness of this game.
If this guy had a tv show.... Id watch it
Very entertaining video. Thank you.
Oh yeah this guy is a mechanic.. we all have amazing and unbelievable stories from working in the industry.. and we cant help it.. we have to share them..
PB blaster is a miracle, has saved me many times working on my Toyota.
That guy is awesome. Great video!
This game series is what kept me going until I was able to obtain my license at the age of 21.
As a now fellow technician, I too wish that it was this easy. Only car guys would understand that fuel pump would most likely have been mechanical on this car as well as many other classic cars in the game.
I'd take my car to this man's shop just to hang out and have some beers afterwards. Such a fun person 👏👏👍
I worked in a shop for about six months and yeah it simplifies stuff quite a bit
I DEMAND SERIES OR PART 2!!!
Really having a young teenager going through this game teaches them at least some knowledge on the parts and repair processes. I still play this game.
Malachite is without doubt the coolest name I have ever heard. And he seems such a nice guy too!
I knew jack squat about fixing cars until I played this game. Now for fun I find beat up cars in the junk yard and strip them out, then rebuild the engines. you can also take them for a spin too. Love it. 😊 ❤
This guy needs his own channel- he’s so funny ❤
He really loves his job 👍
Interesting to know that most technicians actually don’t flush the brake fluid to get rid of the fluid that’s no longer effective, like moisture level point.
My 1st fuel pump i tried to do it from the back seat as well. Im glad I wasnt alone
Malachite, when you open your shop can you please have a RUclips or TikTok channel? I'd watch this religiously...and then maybe earn gold stars from my lifelong automechanic dad. It's just my family's legacy on the line, no pressure 😆.
This guy is cool. Wow, he needs his own series.
My mom once turned on our 92 Bronco and our car Julius was in there but he didn’t get hurt until she started turning the wheel while backing out of the driveway. She heard him shrieking and she stopped and got him out. Somehow he survived and the only lasting effect was the tip of his tail was bent to 90° and he had a limp. Dude was a champion until he got cancer. RIP Orange Julius, my hero.
now we need car mechanic playing my summer car
the true car mechanic (and pain) simulator
This guy's passive agressive venting about everything is a vibe lmao
WE WANT MOREEEEEE
His smile is contagious
I’m sure he wanted to say if you don’t put the wheel on correctly there’s an abbreviation technicians and mechanics (yes they are different) like to call CBD or crash, burn, die there are plenty stories of this happening
Same story happened with my father.
Went to a mechanic for changing break pads.
Opened the front and there was a green snake near the radiator.
Why do you need to open the front for a brake pad change? Just take the wheels and calliper off lol
90% story 10% playing :)
I love his story about the woman leaving her window cracked while he was under the car repairing it and her cheating story. "Hey, talk slowww!" 😂😂😂
i love this man already i havnt met anyone else who calls it peanut butter blaster
7:09 - Happened to my mom and I. Took my 89 Grand Cherokee in to get some work done, got some new tires and whatnot. Later that night, we're out driving down Deerfoot in Calgary Alberta at about 100-110km/hr, suddenly the whole back right of the vehicle just drops. I flip the hazards, pull to the side, and then we see our tire just bouncing on down the road.
Luckily some guy saw it, pulled in front of the tire to let it bounce against his tailgate, brought it back to us, then stayed with us till the tow truck got there.
I probably shoulda been a bit more freaked out than I was, I just couldn't help but laugh at the time lol.
I love this guy
So sweet with him watching moonwalker and wanting to be a car
Playing this game has the same affect on all real mechanics lol we constantly yell "if only it was that easy" love this game lol
This was a awsome and funny video😅👏🔥
Dudes hiliarious, I be droppin in on ppls convo's myself😅😂
Except the part where I snap the rusted bolt heads off while trying to take them out
This time u should have God play WorldBox
I love this game but I’m still waiting for them to make us use plasti gauge when installing the crankshafts or like checking if the engine block is bored out to .20 over or something of that nature lol
I love doing full restorations in this game in sandbox mode. Just get a car from the junkyard and completely rebuild everything.
I love buying 5 cars from the junkyard at a time and just rebuilding them all and selling for profit
10:10 - Logged a lot of hours on Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, and recently my car wasn't performing as it should after a standard service (felt like the spark plugs were misfiring), so I wanted to see for myself if the spark plugs were changed. Prior to this I had never worked on a car, and was pretty useless at anything engine related. I popped the hood of my car, and could easily identify a lot of components purely based off what I saw in the game, and I was able to successfully take apart only what was necessary to get to the spark plugs first time, and reassemble everything successfully. Not much, but all that was thanks to the game. So what he's saying at this point in the video, I can honestly say it's a great way to understand engines better without having to tinker on a real car
i was putting the lug bolts on in a star pattern for the first few cars too before i realized it has no effect in game
And now I want to be part of the mechanic simulator community. 😊
Bought my truck and had the same incident. They put red lock tite on my oil plug. Snapped a breaker bar in half before we got it off.
Could watch this dude play through the whole game.
How likeable you wanna be?
This dude: YESSS
i love this guy
So if I just want to understand cars better, this would be worth getting? Also, by chance does this have trucks? F-150s? Cool review! Thanks.
I did remove the rear seats first time playing to get to the fuel pump only to find out you can just click on it😂
You get my upvote and subscription because I feel your pain in regards to disorganized work places and people who don't put tools back where they belong. Why is it that most people are designed to be bad at that so that they torture the few people who are?
you should check out Wrench, it's VR and even more detailed
Put this man a VR glasses and make him play the car mechanic VR
He should try "My Summer Car". It's what mechanic sim should be like
I just discovered this game today. I have been a dealership technician for twenty years. I’m starting to think this must be an extremely popular game for my customers. They all act like this is how easy it is to work on cars. 😂😂
What a nice dude👍🤗
Can you select the cars u wanna work on or is it random for each job? Because if u can select the cars it be a nice way to study your own car.
I'm in a similar spot as you but a bit younger, I'm 18 and just graduated high school and took atuo tech for the 4 years there. I'm gonna get ase certified in diesel engines and take my Savings money and open a small shop in my hometown
I've had a job for 3 years and saved every penny that I didn't spend on gas or insurance and have just over $60k
What about blinker fluid changes?
