Extremely spamable (only 1 type of material)
Agile (fastest non core unit in game)
Flying
Cons:
Weakest unit in the game in term of raw power.
Perfect for a good zerg playstyle. Nothing Ike sending thousands of them into the meltdown meat grinder DDay style
Strength in Number
Also requires the most expensive counter
Flare is pretty much a kamikaze unit🇯🇵
Strength in being annoying, cheap as hell and doing chip damage
Build Omura because of it's range and damage: ❌

Flares for free and Foreshadow on water (also part of the package)
I think Omura was like a Carrier or Mothership due to producing a flare.
Flare, is the unit with the cheapest cost and also the unit with the weakest health as well as the fastest speed at T1 compared to other units of the same type. I often use this unit for suicide bombing purposes. and transport items when using logic blocks
its also a death swarm in hordes

2:26 it looked like a meteorite crashed here, i mean that the flares have left a black trail. I think that bigger flying units should slide for some time after hitting the ground, then stop and then their wreckages will stay as some obstackes or ssomething.

For those wondering on how the flares are separated in groups, he's controlling them using the group feature in V8 or in the BE versions of Mindustry.

You can do it in-game through the map settings, modify the unit capacity value, or something similar. You can do this without mods.
Or if lazy, spam Nucleus Cores in the map editor

My friend got one that make units attempt to dodge bullets (they just attempt to so if they’re slow, they’re still dead)but there’s a “do not attempt to preform any type of copying” message right at the middle so yeah, I can’t know what’s the logic for it
