Hey also impact reactors explode more violently if it was destroyed. Like I would literally destroy a big surge wall with a single blast. Also I've seen the blast take out a scepter before

I love these programmable blocks. They can be used to control impact reactors, or to make emergency shutdowns for thorium reactors. One of my favourites from is controlling huge turrets by hand
Can it control thorium reactors too?
Cus if it does, we'll have a truly safe thorium compound without worrying that it'll explode
It can enable and disable thorium reactors, and read fluid levels of blocks. I would recommend reading the fluid level of a conduit or tank instead of the reactor itself, because disabling a block also prevents liquids from flowing in/out. So the reactor just wouldn’t start up again

Am looking at this 1year after v6 came out. And god, it feels so good to control a spctre turret, its like yor an mg42 gunner in ww2
I sooo love the details on the mini-armaments on the bigger units, definitely contrasting the older mobile single type weapons platform from before. Now them big boiz actually have some merit to their size apart from health.
Also: finally, tactical nukes as official strat. ggwp. Heck even batteries might be more useful now, if only to trigger an chainsplosion in the enemy's side.

wait, if a person becomes a unit of the nova tree and it is carried by another person from the poly tree, then the person who is carrying it becomes a commander?
Nova is a commander already
You can't carry player controlled units
carried loads do not work while carried, like how thorium reactor did not explode when carried by quad, and turrets and units didn’t fire when enemies is in range because they are carried

The Poly's main use is assisiting you in building and rebuilding structus and is without a doubt my favourite unit (because I always discover a broken convayer like 10 minutes after it got destroyed)

Anuke added Foreshadow,basically a sniper that outranges every turret/unit that requires power and surge as ammo
CORVUS allow me to introduce myself with my off screen hitting capabilities
Controlling units is basic Lý just player damage but less toxic you can just rush flare and blow up the enemy’s coal power when their unrealdy

Note: in the later versions, all units are commanders, but can only control units roughly there size and type(flare can control flares and bombers but not ground units and so on)
I have played mindustry in the past and this is the first of these vids i have watched, and until now i honestly thought it was made by a full team of game decvs

I absolutely love the support units. The Nova and Mono tree is sweet.
Great job editing this one! One thing you did forget to mention is that some of the higher tier naval units do have a shield that can sustain damage and (not 100% sure) Regenerate.
The flare as well the tier 4 have it
My favorite tree is the crawler tree. The mechs look so darn cool!

Also for balance purpose, make sure that unit are more expensive than defense because with the command ability they will be way more versatile than defense.
And maybe add a low tier shields to counter low tier units that can fire over walls, because otherwise than will be the defacto go to in early game.

Actually that’s how I play on it, and it runs amazing for a PC and mobile game
I hope they add cargo ships, those would probably add a good incentive to making naval units.

I really liked the Sea Naval Units which can possibly make a Sea War Server for Mindustry!
imagine a game where you choose the class you want
and fight with another player as bosses
(also check the end of the stream and join the E army)
Basically how I think the unit trees work.
Dagger - Basic DPS, not that good early game but great at mid or endgame
Nova - High DPS output early game, becomes more of a support tank in mid and endgame
Crawler - RUSH EVERYTHING
Flare - Strong In Numbers
Mono - Pure Support
Every single naval unit - water unit
God I just love the audio editing of this video

100%, before my swarmer spam could stop a couple of the bosses in nuclear production plant, but now the defenses are shredded before the boss is half health. But meltdowns and the new foreshadows are extremely effective at countering bosses
I’m really hoping end game weapons are balanced against the t5 units, I know seeing this in game is somewhat unrealistic unless you draw it out a lot but good lord these things are annoying to fight when your pre-titanium

mindustry is the game ive always wanted but never existed till it did.
In version 130+ are added new tree of units and block exuding units and other blocks
Retusa tree:
Type: naval
Retusa: has regen turret
Oxynoe: shoots fire and bullets like segment
Cyerce: also has regen turret
Aegires: regens a lot of allies and stuns every enemy
Navanax: shoots projectiles with a huge explosion radius and also has 4 automatic mini meltdowns.
Lich: "You're weak"
Antumbra: "I'm you"
But fr tho where's the lich we all despise and hate. They really nerfed it. Big oof. Anyways I'm still hyped for this update

and now you have a giant mechanical spider pest problem
this will be very useful for attack maps

It was fun to watch reign badass it's way through all of it
i like how the dagger tree and the nova tree look similar at first but while the dagger tree stays consistant for the most part meanwhile the nova tree transforms into a unrecognisible spider
So funny to look back at this video and see that v6 was being teased once 🤣
Pretty good, but you forgot about the healing and enhancing abilities of certain units like the T2 Nova and the T2 and 3 Rizzo.

If you want to take out multiple weak enemy buildings or enemies then use the toxipod
But if in online games you want to destroy those mega defenses then use corvus their range is more than ripple(2nd longest range) use them to take the item source behind the turrets

Literally the first time I heard of this game. I bought it instantly and am weirding very much for the v6 update thing
how do you control multiple unit with a commender, i mean when you control a nova (for exemple) how do you activate his commender ability
Btw all units can command if its their class, commanders command any type. Edit: units command units at their tier or below (example: a dagger cant command a fortress, but a fortress can command the dagger).
