You say the video is too long. It is never TOO LONG for me. It is so relaxing to watch, just like the late Bob Ross with his paintings. Relaxing while I learn how to paint. Just wished you showed everything. But as always: great video, loved it!
I wanted to thank you. I used to get visible airbrush splatter whenever I used near white colors. The last time I airbrushed I mixed the paint in a plastic piece, using only airbrush thinner to thin down, and I did not have that issue. I had always mixed in the pot with both water and flow improver previously. Watching you helped solve my issue. Thank you.
Angel, this video is awesome! thank you for your work.
Really good to see this sort of level as well as the quicker tabletop ones. I was looking for more information on how to use those fluorescent colours as well. Thank you.
That cape looks amazing! I like the ghostly "splatter" on the bottom. Thanks for the video!
I learned so much about NMM in this video. Thank you so much for sharing your talents and explaining how to do things in a clear and concise manner. My First NMM after watching this is so much better than what I had been doing. Just amazing.
Good to her THAT!, pleasde tag me on IG so I can see your results :)
Great painting job! The NMM looks amazing.
Educational vids are never long man and it’s always a blessing to be able to see techniques being shown in a blow by blow process, much appreciated I’m sure by many!
Congratulations on the reprint sellouts of your books too by the way, seems a long time ago now seeing you with Carlos on Beasts of War I think it was talking about Masterclass volume 1.
Stay healthy 👊
Good to hear that!!! I want to offer a great content 🤗
I enjoyed the longer form video and all the commentary. The more I see you add different tones like this, the more I want to see that color theory video you've mentioned here and there. Now, to see if adding sound effects while edge highlighting swords was the missing step!
Perfect timing. I have armoured skeleton emitting cold fire lined up next. Lots of great tips on desaturation here ☺️
Very nice OSL effect, green light make a nice change from orange fire and works well with the armor color.
Oh my god, that was like a dream come true. Amazing. Superb mini. Glazes galore. Cool armour. NMM. Verdigris. OSL. This had everything!! Stunning stuff.
And for me, your explanations were much improved e.g. when you explained what you were doing when painting the face. Thanks!
As a suggestion, could we get a close up when you hit the armour with little stipple and scratches, to appreciate the technique. Or when you do the face. Just a thought.
Thanks! I really enjoyed it. I need a new camera so I can make a good close up but I need more support on this channel🙃
Absolutely incredible... your painting and instructions are both 100% mate
Watching this for the third time. Never gets old. Thanks a lote for sharing this with us.
Love the shading of the armour. Such a great model. Amazing.
:)
Amazing work that the green cold armour works so well
thanks!!
Another great video Angel, thanks for sharing. The point about minimizing the points of light to make them stand out and draw the viewers gaze is something I am just starting to use myself. I have found it helps to look at the figure from all angles so there is at least one from every viewing angle.
Really loved to see a more advanced video. Thank you for sharing !
Amazing as always and thank you for an English version.
This was awesome! The advanced vids are the best!
Absolutely incredible work Angel. Will try the OSL technique on my Lord Felthius' Orb of Dessication.
In watching this video. I kept saying to myself. Master you are such a master at this and make it look easy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge
This is an awesome paint job I love the armor and the face thank you so much for sharing your process. I’ve been 3d printing for about 2.5 years and I didn’t love it straight away. Now I’m the friend people turn too when looking for that special character or the DM when the DM doesn’t have X. I hope to learn to sculpt in 3d and one day print my own creations. Thank you again for this awesome video
Thanks for taking the time to make this. It blows my mind how you can pick and mix colors like this. I don’t have much knowledge in color theory so this that much more impressive. Great stuff.
this video took me a lot time, 😅. thanks for watching
I normally don't watch long videos but this one was so good and informative I had to watch all the way till the end.
Thanks😃
Dear Angel!
I think this is your best video ever!
A lot of techniques well explained and clear view!
I would like to know more about painting the base!
Colors procedures etc
Moreover you have to make more videos on Loot range (a brilliant and visionary idea to get involved in 3d) and a video for your favorite color range explaining saturated and no saturated colors!
Many thanks and gratitude for your efforts!
Thanks mate!, I really enjoyed with this video but people don`t watch my long videos..... I don't understant the reason......I hope record more videos with Loot range but it depends on if this video is popular.....
Angel GiraldeZ as a “professional” in human behavior i would suggest to cut them in smaller ones (max 15) with different sexy titles
People rarely will spend more time than 15 minutes in a video as they spent their time in between activities watching videos or browsing facebook
Moreover data consumption is another limitation!
Also trying multi references in previous short videos at the end of the video
I hope i helped
Angel GiraldeZ thanks for replying I know your time is money!!!
Que barbaridad. Enhorabuena Ángel
que showw uma miniatura da loot sendo pintanda por angel giraldez. e isso ai uma impressa brasileira de sucesso..
Best video so far Angel. The colours always seem to pop so much more. Will try these colours on some plague marines.
Thanks mate
Loving it so far, I'm sure this will be a great video like all your previous ones.
Really happy to have the colors used at the beginning of the video, very helpful!
Thanks mate! , hope you enjoy this video☺️
AWESOME! I was debating getting an airbrush, this is pushing me towards making a positive decision!
I really like the way you show the steps, very clear. Keep it up!
Absolutely amazing Angel! I love the longer more in-depth videos. Thank you so much!
Thanks!!!! I enjoy these videos but people don't watch long videos😭
Can't wait for the video on using Fluorescent colors, sounds great! thanks for sharing and stay safe!
Thanks
Damn after watching this video im super motivated! Thanks Angel!
hahahahah, good to hear that! I want to motivate with my videos :)
Mind blowing paint job!
Awesome work, I haven't tried nmm before but I'm going to have a go after watching this. Thank you
Beautifull! Great work!
Great video, you blow my mind with that great NMM and OSL. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks bro! Minicháaaaaa🤣
@@AngelGiraldeZ great pronunciation bro! 🤣
Al final conseguiré cogerle el truco a esta técnica. Desde que cuelgas los vídeos estoy haciendo pruebas. Muchas gracias por tu tiempo @Angel!
Es cuestion de practicar ☺️
Great choice of colors, I love to see your process in action, I need to start venturing outside my comfort zone in terms of applied color theory.
This video was awesome! Thanks for sharing your master tips!
Dear Angel, Outstanding workmanship & totally inspirational! I thoroughly enjoyed your tutorial. Kind Regards Johnny
Thanks mate, could you share this video?☺️
@@AngelGiraldeZ Happy to share. Consider it done.
Man, this is awesome!
Now....let's practice!!!!! 💪🏻 💪🏻 💪🏻
Practice makes perfect!!
thanks for this high quality content!!
Thanks for watching!!!! if you share this video, it would be great!!!
Best Video yet by far!
wow! thanks, could you share this video? :)
Yay another advanced video! These are my favourite :)
Great video! I started to make some painting videos, and I understand the amount of work that goes into each video, thank you for doing this!
Thank you so much for another fantastic video ! Your paint job on this mini as well as the intellectual process behind it are mind blowing and jaw dropping !!!
And again, as a lame beginner (with a huge hunger for learning and gathering info on minis painting though), I feel ashamed for pointing out at a little detail : A magical fire is still a fire, imho. In this video as well as in your "EVOLUTION CR PLUS / How to paint purple", you put more highlight on the tip of the flames. To me, more highlight is required at the bottom or center of the magical fire source and darker tones are required on the tip of the flames.
Unless magical flames behave like optical fiber ! Who knows ? ... :-D ;-)
Please keep on feeding us with your brilliant videos !
Such a great video tutorial! I really like the colors a lot, will use this scheme on one of my figures 😀 Thanks for sharing and keep painting 👍🏻
Stellar work angel! ♡
Quedó increíble! Felicitaciones :)
This is so f***ing awesome! Absolutely great, what you are doing here! 👍
And again, I learned a lot.😊
Please continue making these videos. They really brought me back to painting minis after more than 15 years (although I am still not good in it - it is fun and great or relaxing).
Thanks bro! 🙋♂️
I love these videos but people don't watch these videos.... I don't know the reason....🙃. I can explain more process, tricks,etc..
@@AngelGiraldeZ Hehe...japp..those guys who ask questions and don't watch the videos. Do not know, whom you are talking about. 🙈
Amazing, that was fantastic. More videos like that please. Great Channel, really inspiring!, thank you.
Thanks!!! please, share the video :)
This model wanna make me buy a 3D printer so bad... Really nice work on it Angel.
los de los negativos deben ser unos fenómenos....bueno seguro que Angel está acostumbrado a pintar trolls tambien.....
Hi Angel, I was expecting you to glaze up to a lighter colour on the arm before spraying the fluorescent green on it. But you didn't! And it works really well! Excellent video!
It´s not nessary because the arm had hightlight previously :)
Fantastic!!!
First I only want to see the part about the OSL (because NMM is to technical for me for know), you catched my from minutes one.
You such a brilliant Artist and your tutorials are so good described.
Thank you for that.
Good to hear that!, I really enjoy on RUclips. If you can share this video, it helps me a lot 🙏🏻
Incredible!
Hi Angel,
Great videos mate! Do you ever use the stopper built into the infinity cr plus to control the spread of paint?
Excellent video, more things for me to try.
Incredible work, subbed and shared this content is amazing!
Thanks mate
Many thanks for another great video, I am learning so much from your channel, as someone who is a complete beginner.
Thanks! Good to hear that😃
Amazing, really!!
Your tutorials are superb! Can't wait to practice these techniques ^_^
Thanks :)
Very nice Paintjob. I think it's more and more time to get a good Airbrush and try to adjust your way of painting to my models.
A good airbrush is the secret ;)
Great stuff!
Thanks
Amazing!!!
Great video !
Awesome vid, gonna rewatch this a few times and try out some of the techniques. Gotta improve :)
Amazing and Inspiring.
Awesome!
Thanks
Angel can you make a video of painting a complete team/squad at "game level"? I'm sure that you have some trump card or magic trick to teach ^_^
Thank you for the video !!!
What is the name of the song at 2:22? I've heard it in a lot of your videos, and it's so nice to listen to.
My mate Ruth edits my videos so Idon't know it 😅
Great video! Angel, do you do personal commissions, or only for companies?
I accept commisions but my schedule is full 😅. Send me a mail and we can talk ;)
Amazing! Makes me realize how much of an amateur i am :)
At first it was like "I can do this, but it isn't good enough. How do he proceed in the next steps?". And then "Wow, that looks amazing. Think I have to rewatch it!". Sometimes I wonder how you decide with paints to use. Like when you put red, purple, green, yellow and dab it here and there xD Down to experience and preference I guess.
As a sidenote, when you used the wet palette, the uppermost paints in it reflected so much light it was hard to discern the colour. But great video nonetheless!
When shading the model for the first time with the sepia ink mix, you comment that the sepia ink has a satin finish. However, you then wash and glaze the armour surfaces. Do you go back afterwards with satin and matt clear coats to provide the appropriate finishes?
Ink a satin finish but if you mix it with Model Wash or other range ,you get a matt finish. When I painted the armour, I "played" with the effect, satin and matt :)
Amazing.
Thanks :)
How did you get that print so clean? I always seem to find supports after priming.
you have to remove the supports. check this video ruclips.net/video/azCEskEZFJE/видео.html
Great video 👍
Learn alot from this
Do you think we can get a second video on adding tones to your previous video on nmm for intermidiate level
Yes, why not!!!, I can do that!
@@AngelGiraldeZ Thanks for responding , really good tutorials
New subscriber, loving your videos 👌🏻
Thanks, hope you enjoy my content, if you can share my channel, it helps me a lot🙏🏻
But even when you approach to make the smallest highlights with the airbrush, is there always a pressure of 1.8 bar?
Yep, always 1.8 :)
I'm brand new to the miniature painting scene but have shit of background in srt .. obviously this is way above a beginners level, but how important is a airbrush with minis ? Could this same mini be done without an airbrush ?
An airbrush is always a great option to reach some techniques that are hard to do with a brush. You can achieve smoothness with less paint, better transitions and some great shades. But, when i started to paint a lot of years ago i didn't have one, so... .everything is possible! :) If you purchase one, you will never regret. Is a great tool for painters.
very nice work. you make is look so easy
Thanks!
thank you
@11:50 What is "reference 331"?
Panzer Aces 331, this color is really good 😍
Perdona la barbaridad que igual notas que te digo, pero igual que tú lo haces en inglés, por qué no en Castellano?, gracias
Aqui lo tienes 😛 ruclips.net/video/baoropjWAPs/видео.html
@@AngelGiraldeZ gracias
#anycubic great video again many thanks
No va ha estar en español?
Si, la version en español sale a las 19:40😄. Siempre va a estar lis videos en dos idiomas, no os preocupeis😉
Enjoying the 3D printer?
yep ruclips.net/video/azCEskEZFJE/видео.html
Angel GiraldeZ excellent. I fave a fdm printer but I’m sorely tempted by a resin
I only have a 0.2 needle, does that make a big difference?
Don't worry! , 0.2 mm is fine, you can make a good job
Thnx!
While it looks great, a normal gaming scale (28-32mm) tutorial is more useful to people I think.
Check this video 😉 ruclips.net/video/eSlcwO9Sdfo/видео.html
Not everyone uses an airbrush, but this artist (the face of vallejo in fact) only uses it. Too bad the videos are useless.
Don't cry Sir, don't cry....
This is awesome! I am just getting my feet wet into the world of fluo paints and they are very different to control. I look forward to your video on them!
Good to hear that!!! Thanks!
