It makes sense that they only want you to feed the cattle what they sell you to feed them. That way they can make sure they aren't getting junk or something outright harmful. And if they pre measure the portions, they know if they sell out that the cattle got enough carrots and potatoes for the day. Loved the little pipes in the shop. Might have been tempted to buy them had I been there. Not sure what 30 pounds equals in dollars these days, but that sounds like a really good price for a quality wool sweater (jumper).
