- I've been wanting a Wireless Microphone ever since I've started this channel. Unfortunately, the options are always pricy... Then came this PROFESSIONAL WIRELESS RECORDING MICROPHONE from TAOBAO!
AT ONLY 17BUCKS!
Is this a steal of a lifetime or will is it too good to be true? Lets find out!
I couldn't find the exact model outside of taobao, so I found out that these 3 models are similar in terms of price and quality(physical and audio).

I've tried to save up as much as possible by trying all sorts of cheap wireless mics, and after borrowing the Rode wireless from a friend of mine. Trust me, it maybe pricey but THIS is the wireless mic that I highly recommend:

The thing is, the internal microphone sucks, but when plugged with the Boya by-M1 lavalier it works wonders :D the sound goes almost unchanged. Give it a try because the whole combo goes for less than 40 bucks.
Do it works with both boya modes: 3 and 4 poles?
How do i pair them to my phone? They’re so hard to figure out

Hi Alex, that was a great point! I didn’t think about using the rode as a lavalier because it’s gonna be too big to act as a wireless mic. But now that you’ve mentioned it, I might give it a try

Hi. Yes it can, but the audio quality is quite bad. I suggest going for a better mic, unless this is for something like a spin class where the audio quality isnt v important

Sometimes there is no possibility to use speakers and at the same time you need to move to another room without pressing "pause" of movie player...

well, it depends on what you wanna do with the mic. If its vlogging then definitely get the boya or rode

very nice review, it was a lot of fun and also very useful, I'm planing to buy one just like that and use it with an external lavalier or condenser mic so it will probably sound a little better, thanks !
Thanks Victor! Glad the video has helped you. When I was editing the video, I realised that the mic only produces 1 channel of audio data. Meaning if you use a headset, the audio only gets projected from one side. So just bear that in mind if you get these kinda mics.

Sometimes you get better audio quality if you plug into the headphone side because then it doesn't go through audio processing I have noticed that it sounds a lot more Fuller haven't tested on these little guys yet though but I'm sure it's worth trying out
I've done EXACTLY what you suggested and used the headphone output into camera! Sound quality is EXPONENTIALLY BETTER into camera. Also when the transmitters are paired with a lapel mic the sound quality is very good (and fuller)

Use the headphone output (on the receiver) into camera! Sound quality is EXPONENTIALLY BETTER into camera. Also when the transmitters are paired with a lapel mic the sound quality is very good (and fuller). I've also plugged a shotgun mic into the transmitters and get very good quality audio!

Very funny video. I bought the same wireless microphone, and when i use it, i can just get only the left channel. I thought i was wrong about my settings on my little EOS 200D, or about kit jack. Now i know that is the PROFESSIONNAL WIRELESS RECORDING MICROPHONE who is the problem. Even when i use a external lavalier. 🥲
