The worst skateboarding game I've ever played was ESPN X Games skateboarding 2001. Absolutely terrible. Maybe try that one next.

im so glad my first skating game was thp4 for the xbox. never played a bad skateboarding game
The thrasher game on ps1 was straight garbage. Even for its time I remember renting it as a kid and hating it.
