People that truly understand fashion understand that every fashion trend is recycled throughout history... for example "Adidas Sambas" last huge trend wave was in the 90s & died off in the early 2000s so someone's Mom or Dad prob tells their kid "hey these Sambas was real trendy when I was in school so they go buy a pair & the trend is relived again and again...

People are just consuming trends and not seeing that buying a 200€ pair of sneaker every months that you will wear 1 months then never touch again is dumb
super random but what events would you run in track, just assuming from all the spikes in the background
800m and 1600m! Ran track/xc from middle school till my first year of college. Do you run?
@@WhatsTheHype.Landon same story basically! I was a sprinter/hurdler 100m, 200m, 110mH. Also ran till my first year of college. love the videos too, they always keeping me coming back
@@shanestewart6807 oh that’s sick. Closest I got to sprints was the 4x4. Definitely don’t miss that race lol
I stumbled upon Tim and Modest Man. Honestly, they gave firm fundamental knowledge of fashion. I was able to revamp my closet and go for a simple yet elegant look.
Nice! Do you see yourself keeping that look forever?
@@WhatsTheHype.Landon Yeah I do! I invested roughly $1K in my wardrobe. Most of my stuff is neutrals with a few statement colors with my coats, t-shirts, and sweaters. I love that my wardrobe is now super versatile and I can dress properly for any occasion whether it's for business, lounge, etc. I enjoy the simplicity of my minimalistic fashion because it resembles me as a person.
@@jamesmatthewcastillo2540 that’s sounds great👌 thanks for watching and chatting
Please god don’t let tiktok make my air penny 1s hype 🙏
Definitely a possibility, ASAP Nast has been wearing a lot of older basketball models. I think he could influence some hype
Honestly I love my 550’s I don’t even care if they become cringe cuz I just like the way shoe looks even before they became popular
Awesome! What colorway did you get?
Oh please dont tell me blue collar people pull of the good old skater phrase "are you even skating" on people wearing carhartt... . Years people were fine with wearing brands or special items from those brands, but how dare you wear it now tht it has become popular. Next thing you know Timbs are trending and people will try to harass you for it because you aint from NY
I’m constantly harassed for wearing a Yankees fitted, tnf nuptse, and wheat timbs
i wanna buy sb dunks to actually skate then but the reselling has got out of hand…
Yeah it’s a shame that there aren’t any sbs readily available on Nike. Having Nike ID pairs available would be fun too
same shit happened to cars on tiktok
That’s interesting, I didn’t know that. I assume the short nature of TikTok videos has applied the same effects to different niche interests
@@WhatsTheHype.Landon its so similar what happend cuz so many cool cars that were once considered the best bang for your buck got their prices inflated by tiktok hype
Tik Tok fashion is full of fluff and little substance
A big part of the blame is just short length content. It’s not built for real substance
@@WhatsTheHype.Landon I agree Brotha very true
The thing about tiktok people is they hop to different trends
Yeah the short content formula promotes always trying to post new trends
What happened to fashion period. Everything diluted af
I still like my 550s 😂
Pineapple on pizza is freaking delicious
It’s actually my favorite topping

@@kaisamsa what’s that mean ?

Bro I’ve been gatekeeping the adi2000 man you can’t do this to me 😂 jk bro I love the vide keep it up
Super underrated model! Thank you for supporting the vids
Pretty much everyone is rocking baggy pants and oversized jacket and shirts, white Af1s, Crocs, panda Dunks, new balance 550s, and generic Jordan 1s
Yeah online those trends are huge. The only dunks I’ve seen at my school are pandas
I love it 😂 keep doing it 👌 making me stand out more
the adidas forums are so clean
I like them as well, do you own a pair?
The 550s use anything but solid materials. You even had a short clip of Rose anvil's review play. Didn't you even watch it?
I’ve only had ALD pairs in person so maybe that’s why, but those all felt good to me
This is how I felt when instagram became a thing.
I am sure older generation felt exactly the same way when internet forums became a thing as well.
It’s just matter of exposure, as technology progressed so has number of audiences.
That makes sense. The amount of exposure TikTok seems to bring to trends feels like more than past Instagram/forums
Jordan 4s as a staple I do not understand because they hurt so bad.
Really? I haven’t worn a pair before, but thought they’d feel nice
@@WhatsTheHype.Landon you’ll have to have very specific feet for them not to hurt. But overall they are hard in the inside.
@@DaNewWaveLee damn, thanks for letting me know
+ how much is your outfit videos
extremly valid point with the fragments, I have a pair of the beijing's and they are my most worn, but not my beater bc i keep them in good condtion haha
Sick! Cant believe how underrated those are
People are sleeping on the New Balance 442 indoor shoe
intro 💀🤣
even mock is a very good skater
He’s in a clip of my next video! I like his style a lot, he’s overly hated imo
ill sound like a grandad but im happy that i never even used tiktok. I have several friends that used to spent hours just zombie-watching tiktok, and they had difficulties leaving it.
Definitely, I catch myself sometimes just scrolling hoping to find something funny when in reality it’s just a waste
Same
first pair of nike dunks... proceeds to zoom in on jordan 1's... proceeds to make video on fashion... continue this streak by proceeding to take it down...
The joke was Charlie Damelio fans don’t know the difference lol
"i suggest you play your music out loud so everyone can hear your taste" i immediately dont trust anything else you say here
✨sarcasm✨
bro my dads been wearing sambas for years since he couldnt get them as a kid🔥
That’s sick!
airpod max are so overpriced
could get way better for the price
Sony XM4s 🙌 although the apple fan in me kinda wants the max’s but i’m not in a rush at all.
That’s what I’ve heard as well. I kinda prefer the look of wired headphones over Bluetooth
can someone exaplin me why street wear brands are so expensive though? like a plain tshirt for example/
