@Sideways G I've owned 2 Integra sedans & test drove my friends Rsx when he used to have it. It didn't handle as well as my teggys and I could tell immediately tell the difference in macpherson strut vs double wishbone, both in ride quality & handle.
Respect your opinion. My friends thought I was crazy for buying a Delorean. It has a lot of problems but still one of my favorite cars. I never thought of the S2000 as a Miata with a long nose till you said it. Now I can’t unsee it that way!!
I had a 1994 Acura Intergra I did all the maintenance on it two timing belts I got rid of it at almost 300K miles. Since I live in mid west the rust just started to kill everything. But I really loved that car. Been a Honda Fan since I was born. Currently drive a 2011 Civic Si which I will give to my son when my new 2020 Typre R in boost Blues comes in. Keep up the good work Eric and stay safe. I also never like the S2000 however recently it is starting to grow on me, maybe because there are so many limited ones out there.
I get it, though. All the Honda's I loved died when the S 2000 was born. I love the S 2000, but you can't deny everything was much better before that car.
@@AaronAbbotttheoncomingstorm S2000 is a true honda sports car, along with NSX. I think if he actual drove one then he wouldn't hate it. Prelude, and del sol have nothing on a S2000.
Honda wasted a ton of time and money on things that squandered their talents;HondaJet, Asimo, IndyCar...not making any Acura rwd platform luxury cars like what Toyota did.Maybe one day when management comes to their senses they will. but Hyundai and Kia are cutting into their bottom line
I hope they do. I lost most of my respect for Honda when they replaced the absolutely amazing K20 and K24 engines that they used in their Civic SI with the new 1.5 turbo engines. I do not see those engines as an improvement, I see them as an ugly, complicated, problematic mess without enough of a benefit to justify its use. They are not innovative, they don't even have the VTEC system that Honda came up with decades ago.
@@copperlocks1 The home market in Japan has been in malaise for three decades as South Korea has been in growth. Toyota has responded better to changes than Honda. EVs will either boost some car makers, or ruin them. Honda isn't willing to go head to head with Toyota on the U.S. truck market, and thus far the Koreans have not done so either.
@@averyalexander2303 BMW has made similar moves toward turbos and the reliability has been lacking, but that is probably an interim move towards hybrid EVs
I hope so. The most interesting thing they've done in recent memory is the Honda E. Bold design choices in EVs is their chance to turn around. Otherwise, I don't think they're long for this world. Or at least the USDM market
Good video. I fell in love with Honda's in 1988, I drove a then new '88 Accord sedan and I was blown away. Perfect size steering wheel in diameter and thickness, perfect shifter (it was a manual), clutch, etc. It was quiet, comfortable, fun, super plush (overly expensive) floor mats, door shut thunk was perfect, horn beep was spot on, driving dynamics were great, visibility (all that glass was awesome) and it was all wrapped up in a family sedan, seriously, I couldn't believe it. The other thing is every button, every knob, dial, etc. had a satisfying weight/heft and click to it. I grew up on GM cars, it was like comparing Metal Tonka trucks to Dollar Store plastic trucks from the bargain bin. Golden era Honda's, to me, run from the 80's to the 90's although I absolutely detested the 4th gen Prelude interior (dash reminded me of a GM design) loved the 2nd/3rd and 5th gen Preludes. Also never was a fan of the jelly bean design theme Honda had going on back then. Anything ever more of a sleeper fun car than a '91 Civic Si hatchback with a stick shift? I think one of the biggest let downs was the 5th gen Civic. I remember badly wanting a new '91 Civic or Accord but I was still in college. I remember graduating in '92 and going to the Honda dealership and being so let down with the then new '92 Civic with that cheap looking jelly bean design, the chintzy door handles and goofy headrests, to me, Honda lost my love for Civic with that specific car but later rebounded nicely the following generations. I own a 2008 Accord that I bought in 2009 (w/14k miles for my wife, it has 150k+ and will go to my son soon when he turns 16) and I "like" that car, it's been really good but I don't love it like I loved the 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen Accords, those were pretty much perfect, fun, reliable, inexpensive family sedans for the money imho.
As someone that also works on a lot of cars and specifically a lot of Hondas I couldn't agree more. Honda really started ruining their automatics when they listened to their customers who complained about "harsh shifting." They started programming the transmissions to slip more between gears so it would feel smoother to the least common denominator of a buyer (therefore wearing faster). Anything with some power would just eat transmissions like crazy. I tell anyone to avoid any V6 Hondas made from about 97 to 2008. The legends are some of my favorite cars AND favorite cars to work on. They are truly made to last an absolute eternity. I put a grand in maintenance parts into a friend's 1992 180k mile Legend a few weeks ago. When I was done I noticed that it had a burned out tail light bulb. Much to my surprise when I opened it up,the burned out bulb wasn't burned out, it just had a little bit of corrosion on it, so I cleaned it off, put some bulb grease on it and put it back in. Out of curiosity I checked the other bulbs, Every last one of them was the original KOITO factory bulb. On a 28 year old car!! That's just insane to me. (Not to mention I often see brand new Hyundais driving around with burned out tail lights!! lol) I will have to ask my friend to share the story of his 1990 Legend with you sometime... The best 900 dollar car ever. Finally, S2000s are great and can be fun but especially now they are overrated... I love engines you can rev the freaking balls off of but the S2k is literally slow until you hit vtec, and then it's just too little too late. It's also not as easy to daily drive like an Integra or even a miata... ...I also hate how the shifters feel in those. I've been driving stick for 18 years and every time I get in one I feel like I'm going to mis-shift because the throw is too short AND kinda vague. A bad combination!
Yeah whats up with the bulbs Hyundai uses? They must be cheap junk I see them burned out all the time. I notice Prius taillights seem to go out a lot too and I believe those are LED's so you have to replace the whole assembly.
Great info from a guy who knows more about Hondas than I. The quirkiest Honda I ever owned was a '71 Z600 Coupe. Drove it to death, and would do it all over again. The worst was the '07 Civic I just buried. No one should have to spend 4 hours replacing a starter...
I had an 03 Type S and it had four transmissions replaced by 100,000 miles. I hated the front brakes. The steering wheel radio controls didn’t work. The volume knob would do whatever it wanted when you turned it. There was a rattle/squeak in the overhead console that I couldn’t find. Other than those minor things 😒 the fuel economy was great!
I have followed you for a few years now. Never commented but I thought this is a good time to chime in. Like you, I have 2 integras. Both 98 GSRs. One a black hatch and the other a green sedan. Both are originals with no modifications of any kind. I just find the integra a very very good car as a daily driver. Now, with the GSR or the Type-R. You get the added benefit of being able to go fastER and thus translates to being a very fun driving experience. Keep up with the good work. I enjoy you videos.
Got rid of my 2010 tsx due to a bad vsa modulator. Convenient price of over $2,000 for another bad from factory unit which 2 separate Acura techs told me would also likely fail. I'll drive a bmw or something far more exciting than a Euro Accord if I have to buy $2,000 bad from factory parts in order to not lose 90% brake function. No thanks. Great car otherwise. Negated by that massive Achilles heel
@@RothBeyondTheGrave 1st gen TSX is the way to go. I own an 04 135k miles and runs like a dream. At the time the salesman tried to talk me into a 2010 model and it did nothing for me. I drove the 04 he had on the lot (yeah used car dealer) and I just fell in love with it.
I'm a big fan of the CB7 chassis Accords from '90-'93. I think this might've been the last car Soichiro Honda approved for production. Very well built and designed, and tough as nails. Parts are still readily available and cheap, and they last a long time. They can be left to handle like the cream puffs they are, or you can mod the suspension a little bit and they handle great. They also readily accept the H22 you're so fond of. I have two :)
Thanks for this amazing video. I have a 2003 Accord sedan LX with a K24 engine mated to a 5-speed AT. Apart from routine maintenance and some oil leak a couple of years ago, which I fixed, it still runs like new after ~16 years of use. I hate the fact that recent Accords being manufactured are turbocharged. I would really have preferred Honda engineers work towards a naturally aspirated engine/option, mated with an AT. In as much as I love the efficiency of Honda, I place a premium on durability too. This was why I fell in love with Honda in the first place. These turbo engines won't last except they are just bought to be kept in museums. I do hope I am not alone.
You are not alone👍. I own a 98 Prelude. It leaks oil and body is rusting out but dont want to get rid of it. It's the first stick shift I've owned and still has OE clutch.. 250k. 100% agreement with newer cars having turbos and CVTs👎
Del sol vtec trim is the type r of del sols, in 94 in the US Honda gave it the 1.6 dohc vtec engine with short gearing transmission that made that car a force to be reckoned with back in 94.. the DEL SOL RECEIVED FIRST A DOHC VTEC POWERPLANT (b16a3) IN THE STATES BEFORE THE CIVIC... Then in 96-97 which may now become holy Grails pretty soon in the Honda tuner market, (which I luckily own one 1997 haha) received the VERY POPULAR B16a2 which many people know it BUT ONLY BECAUSE IT CAME OUT AS POWERPLANT FOR THE EXTREMELY POPULAR 99-00 CIVIC SI a couple of years later! THE 1997 vtec trim model received abs, Integra brakes all around, front strut bar, crossmemeber bar, front and rear sway bars. Fun fact, the front sway bar of a del sol vtec trim is the same size as a usdm model Integra type r front sway bar.
I borrowed a 5 spd 83 Prelude in 1993. It was an amazing car for the time period. Best 3 days of my life. I could see the problem with pop up headlights though..
Eric, You are THE BEST on the Web! :-) I am a former auto mechanic. I also have a lot of experience working on Hondas. Civics are my favorite. I have owned MANY. Great cars for many reasons. Keep up the good work! :-) Regards, Tim
My first car was a '77 Accord hatchback with both a manual transmission and manual choke. Easy to work on. Taught myself how to do a tune-up using my Chilton's manual. Fun to drive, but rusted like crazy. Didn't make it to 100K.
I have been a staunch Honda owner since the early 1990s. Each successive Honda I've owned (except my Odyssey), has been an incremental disappointment. From the clutch change on my 2004 Civic SI (remove the entire subframe?!) to the 2015 Accord LX (VTEC Cam gear not recalled for 2015 - but every 4-banger on either model year side?!). When I decided to make a substantial investment in a truck, I considered Honda's answer to the F150, but instead decided to give Ford another chance with my current F250 SD. Ride a little rougher than the Honda, but it's a truck and not a wannabe. Thanks for all you do for us shade-tree mechanics, Eric!
I love the 2000 civic si, best car so far in my mind. Also the 2006 to 2011 civic, they are easy to work on and have minor issues if you keep up with regular maintenance. I agree about the prelude, awesome.
I agree with the 2000 Civic Si. It's a beautiful and fun car. But I disagree with the 8th Gen Civic. In my opinion, it's the ugliest civic of them all, especially the European version. The interior is nice, though
Hearing a Honda/Acura expert's opinion is always valuable. BTW, that RSX was still Integra in Japanese market, which I'm sure you know. Honda did lose their spirit as "Being Different" some years ago. Even Honda enthusiasts in Japan have been pissed off for the last 15 years or so, because Honda switched to minivan/lightweight car company (lightweight cars are popular in Asia & certain parts of EU). I also blame it on "globalization". When Honda/Acura vehicles were purely made in Japan & the U.S, they were fine cars but now parts are made all over the world, with not very impressive quality control.
My first Honda, 3rd gen accord, was a love/hate relationship with me. It had more vacuum lines than I've ever seen on any vehicle which made it a pain for working vacuum leaks.
The Civics have maybe 5 vacuum lines for the whole engine. I always admired Hondas lack of emission equipment, basically just a vapor canister for the fuel vapor and a catalytic converter. They still seem to pass emissions easily even when they burn oil.
I have a 1986 honda civic wagon. Excellent car, except the vacuum lines can be nightmare fuel to some. However, I always appreciated the engineering behind them with all the electro-mechanical components.
My auntie had a 1987 Acura Integra 5 speed. She got over 333,000 miles on it until it caught fire. And those were hard miles; lived in San Francisco for awhile (all the hills with a manual...) and tons of road trips up and down the west coast.
As an owner of a ‘91 Accord LX, I wholeheartedly agree for me. Great looks with an extremely well-made interior. I only have a few gripes with it, but what a great car to drive.
I had one and sold it to my daughter. She drives the absolute crap out of it and loves it. It's also her first manual car first Honda so I think we have a loyal convert lol.
renndub That’s great hear that it’s treating her so well and small world! My Accord is just the same for me when I got it, 3 years/36,000 miles ago and I don’t imagine ever parting with it. Hopefully, it treats us as well as Joe LoCicero’s! Always glad to hear of another happy 4th-generation Accord story!
@Sideways G Porsche also stubbornly sticks to the inferior rear mounted engine and neuter's the mid engine Cayman (or whatever number they call it now) because if they were equal, the 911 would be destroyed, so what's your point?
I absolutely loved my wife's 95 Civic DX 2 dr coupe, teal green. Great MPG, great to drive, easy to take care of. Wish I had it back. Wife sold it last year with 95k miles. Her mother bought it new.
I had a 2003 Acura TL Type S, bought it certified with 30k and was only 3 years old. Drove it 30 miles from the dealership to home and 30 miles back to the dealership...where they replaced my AT. As for the trim and other little things...well you are spot on about that car!
First gen CRVs were cool and more Jeep like, any civic with a stick are fun cars to drive, now Honda Acura CUVs and SUVs are soul less appliances that are meh.
See above comment...started w/98 AWD CRV, 250K miles, loved it...briefly drove a 2002, totally different trucklike beast, hated it...now got a 2000, back to luv'n it. Great snow car, utility stuff like hauling firewood, comfortably ergonomic, roomy, good on gas, and much more.
I own a 2003 Acura TL Type-S A-Spec. The previous owner had already replaced the transmission which was good for me. I love the car, and I've been lucky with some of the issues you were mentioning about it. It's still running strong in 2021 with 320,000 km's.
I bought a new 2019 Pilot. Wow, what a disappointment. That was my 1st and last Honda. What drove me crazy was how loud and unrefined the noise level was. It almost sounded like the rear suspension was loose (it wasn't). The dash display that was so "busy" with "stuff'. The transmission felt like it was "holding back" when coasting as though it needed to upshift. It seemed that after engineering 70% of the car, they put into production. I kept the car for about 6 months and traded it in for a different brand.
Great video. I like that you are talking about it from the perspective of someone who works in these cars professionally. Not from the point of a customer.
Hi, 1st time viewer: Just bought a 1998 Civic LX with 168K on it. Did a good tune up and fluid change. Still needs some love on the body but wow! What a car. Has new rubber and handles like a dream. Quite peppy too. I do have a question or two about the automatic but that can wait. Thanks and I agree Honda could have gotten more 'mileage' out of those models that were axed. You obviously know you stuff. Thanks for the info.
Yeah, Honda switching to McPherson on all their lineup was the cornerstone for Honda. The suspension would never be anywhere close to what it was before.
@@SI0AX Yeah I don't think Acura exists anywhere outside of North America. We got the Integras but it is called an Acura here rather than a Honda. And the last generation of the Integra (the DC5) is called an Acura RSX here.
It interesting to hear your opinion on cars enthusiasts like and cars technicians like and vice versa. My dad is also a Honda mechanic and he hates modern Hondas, especially the turbo ones.
My Honda of choice is the Prelude. I own a 91' 3rd gen with a h22a engine in it and a 96' 5th gen as a beater and a Lexus IS200 as my daily. I absolutely love the 3rd gen Preludes styling and with the h22 it's a beast. Hoping I never need to part with it. Wish we had Integras where I live probably would own one as well. Would love to own a CRX too those things look sexy. Unfortunately every time they come up for sale here they are heavily moded or are complete pieces of junk and not worth the enormous rarity tax that people think the car deserves.
So glad to hear you shout out the prelude. I had 2 5th gens both type sh with full bolt ons and coil overs and still my favorite car I’ve ever owned. Bought the second one from a dismantler for $800 and hit the jackpot because it had a genuine mugen cat back on it and it sounded incredible
i don't really have much experience with hondas (except for the fireblade and the cbr600f) but when i was a kid, my mom had a 1995 Civic LSI Coupe with which we were travelling to croatia every year during summer break and sometimes even for the winterholidays. i thought the car looked cool and i liked the sound the engine made. 90hp seemed plenty to me back then, cause my dad drove a ford fiesta with 55hp i think. my moms civic had run a little over 400.000km when some woman ran a redlight on an intersection and crashed into it. insurance covered the body repair, but later it was discovered that the crash has caused a crack in the engine block, the car ran funny after that crash, burned oil and water, first it was thought the headgasket was gone, but it was the previously mentioned crack. my mom sold it for 500€ to some guy who had a spare engine in his backyard. it had almost half a million kilometers by that point.
Haha, I knew Prelude would make the list. I love my 3rd gen, but it is EFI... and 4WS, so I have 16+ ball joints 😂😂; the USDM 4WS was mechanical, 29 years old and no issues.
@Christopher gendron, So jealous. I had the 2 wheel steering carborated automatic base. Boooo. QUESTION, does your 4 wheel steering model have super light steering, like steering pinky finger only from rack to rack? Mine was like that, always wondered if 4ws had crazy light steering too.

First time watching your videos, and gotta say they’re really good. You know what you’re talking about and it’s cool that you say it’s your opinion and you’re open to discussion. Good stuff.
I agree with you about the RSX -- you nailed it on that one. Definitely a downgrade from an Integra. The Integra was an awesome car -- absolutely amazing. But I disagree with you about the S2000 - that's a way better car than the Del Sol. I've never been a fan of the Del Sol. It's just not as good looking as the S2000, and it's *so* slow. I'd take an S2000 any day. Even over a Miata, actually. The S2000 is the best 2-seater Japanese roadster, in my opinion, especially when it's been supercharged.
I've had three Hondas, two Civics and a Fit. The common theme among all three of them were warped brake rotors, but the last Civic (a 1989 Hatcheback) also chewed through CV joints, luckily all under warranty.
I had an 86 SE prelude, fuel injection. Ran perfect up to 450ish thousand kms. I currently have a 92 Civic si hatch with a toasted motor at 462 thousand,a 2001 Prelude,5 speed, leather interior and a 14 civic coupe 5 speed. My wife has a nice 05 TL to round out my Honda collection 😎
I like pop-up headlights. Of course they are a nightmare for pedestrian safety and obliterate the aerodynamics when up. That's why they don't make them anymore. But there is just something about the way they keep the frontend sleek (especially in a time before LED projection headlights) and they are always a fun and quirky detail on any car. And of course they just give an instant retro-feel to any car they're on. More than any single other detail ever could. The moment you see pop-up headlights you just know the car is from the last millennium.
You know what? I totally agree with you. I feel that Honda had a turning point at the turn of the century, and I was not happy when they discontinued the Integra, NSX, and Prelude in favour of the S2000 and Accord Coupe that looked like the NSX. Totally not cool. Although I did enjoy riding in a 1991 Honda Prelude. My cousin had that car for a few months, and it ran fine, until it died. How it died, I'm not exactly sure. But I see your disdain for the RSX. It's not a real successor to the Integra, and will never replace it.
I acquired a 2001TL with lots of little problems. The rotor issue was a tough nut to crack but in the end the car had 230k mileage and the original front end and steering components. The left rotor was replaced and within a month the vibration on braking and pull to the left was back. High mileage made replacing components acceptable since if they were not bad they were well worn. Replaced tie rods, bearings, and ball joints then resurfaced that left front rotor and all the ride and steering issues were gone. My theory is the worn steering components would reach a harmonic vibration and increased wear at specific location on the rotor during moderate breaking. Over time there was a high spot on each side of the rotor 180deg apart. This made for violent shimmy when breaking hard.
Eric, although I really like my s2000 it has no low end torque. For a car that’s meant to be run hard you would think it would get up and go right out of the gate. Your also right I couldn’t count how many times people have looked at it and said is that a Miata? Great video like always
I bought my first Integra 4 years ago when I was 15(didn't even have a license). Bought another one when I was 18(last year). Plan on resto-modding one to summer drive until I finish college. Complete build video will be on my channel sometime in November hopefully.
98-02 Honda Accord EX-L Coup 4 cyl manual. Best car I've ever had. Super, super reliable. I had 350,000 miles on mine when I sold it and it still had the factory clutch. The V6s had the same problems as the 99-03 TL with the automatic trans.
A year after my prior question I'm watching this video again and have decided I would consult you before I ever buy a Honda. My very first car was almost a Honda Accord way back when they first started selling them. If I buy a Honda at some point in the future it would most likely be a CRV or Pathfinder.

@Sideways G McPherson strut < Double Wishbone Suspension.
@Sideways G
I've owned 2 Integra sedans & test drove my friends Rsx when he used to have it. It didn't handle as well as my teggys and I could tell immediately tell the difference in macpherson strut vs double wishbone, both in ride quality & handle.
"S2000 is a Miata with a long front end"
I will never unsee this 😣☹
Kinda like saying an Integra is a Corolla with stiffer suspension
I used to have a 99 Civic SiR EM1 and I loved that car! Definitely one of my favorite Hondas I wish I had never sold it
Respect your opinion.

I wonder if Honda will ever come back around. The innovations they used to have, compared to the crap in the showrooms today - it's saddening.
Eric you know the old saying, Honda givith and Honda taketh away. It applies to way more than just their trim lines.
(Not to mention I often see brand new Hyundais driving around with burned out tail lights!! lol)
I will have to ask my friend to share the story of his 1990 Legend with you sometime...
I agree 100% on the transmissions. As soon as they started softening them up, they started to go bad on a regular basis. Thanks for your comment.
@@ETCG1 if you have one of those cars is there a conventional way to flash a controller to modify the shift points?
Yeah whats up with the bulbs Hyundai uses? They must be cheap junk I see them burned out all the time. I notice Prius taillights seem to go out a lot too and I believe those are LED's so you have to replace the whole assembly.
Eric the Integra is so good I agree, I love my GS-R so much it's got 348k miles on it, 2nd engine (HMO swap b18c)
Honda Double wishbone suspension is the best. Still driving 91 JHM cb7 Accord as my daily. 👍
‘91 Accord owners unite!
I'd like to hear your detailed opinion of the TSX's sometime.
I owned an 07 tsx and that was an amazing vehicle.
@@ogH714 But did you own an Integra?
@@Ayeobe I actually have owned an integra but what does that have to do with the question with the tsx
Im glad you didnt hate the 5th gen prelude i really would love to own one
I'm a big fan of the CB7 chassis Accords from '90-'93. I think this might've been the last car Soichiro Honda approved for production. Very well built and designed, and tough as nails. Parts are still readily available and cheap, and they last a long time. They can be left to handle like the cream puffs they are, or you can mod the suspension a little bit and they handle great. They also readily accept the H22 you're so fond of. I have two :)
What are some good sources for parts and/or instruction on upgrades the suspension? I also want to transfer in an h22 at some point.
Agree on all except S2K, that car is legendary. Also, I thought for sure you'd include the 97-99 CL (aka Frontbutt) in your list .
The '94-'97 Honda Accords are my favorite Honda creations.
I borrowed a 5 spd 83 Prelude in 1993. It was an amazing car for the time period. Best 3 days of my life. I could see the problem with pop up headlights though..
I can definitely get behind the old TL cause it had a dumpster fire of a trans but ya broke my heart when ya said the S2000 and the RSX😭
You have really good reasons why you dont like certain ones i thought it qas click bait at first aha. Glad my 97 crv isnt on the list 😬
I agree, a lot of enthusiasts don't realize going from double a-arm to Macpherson strut suspension= no Bueno.
Happy birthday! Btw, my 90 Accord was one of the best cars I've owned. That 2.2 was great.
As an owner of a ‘91 Accord LX, I wholeheartedly agree for me. Great looks with an extremely well-made interior. I only have a few gripes with it, but what a great car to drive.
'90 Accord EX checking in, fantastic car and I'd argue one of the best cars Honda made. My first car and I ran it up to 172k.
I own a 2000 type R honda Integra 200k's full service and still fun!
McPherson is just cheaper, easier, and smaller. An engineer can also explain why it's worse than almost everything. It's a matter of geometry etc.
double wishbones are the best
@Sideways G Porsche also stubbornly sticks to the inferior rear mounted engine and neuter's the mid engine Cayman (or whatever number they call it now) because if they were equal, the 911 would be destroyed, so what's your point?
johnkilo I believe he is referring to the 944. Porsche did a really good job making the strut suspension work on that car.
I absolutely loved my wife's 95 Civic DX 2 dr coupe, teal green. Great MPG, great to drive, easy to take care of. Wish I had it back. Wife sold it last year with 95k miles. Her mother bought it new.
Early 90's was Honda's pinnacle.

I loved my 2000 cr-v, it was wonderful. In fact, I'm likely going to buy another when it's feasible and do ridiculous things to it for fun
Eric not liking Hondas? This quarantine is really getting to him lol haha jk
not liking "SOME" Hondas!!!
I had a 1991 Civic HB, loved it. I got tired of the phrase, "I didn't see you."
Great video.
I like that you are talking about it from the perspective of someone who works in these cars professionally. Not from the point of a customer.
plz now make a video of the Hondas you do like :D
2000 TL 3.2 here. Dealer changed recalled transmission in 07’. Still going strong 💪🏼

Yeah, Honda switching to McPherson on all their lineup was the cornerstone for Honda. The suspension would never be anywhere close to what it was before.

I had an '84 Accord coupe and '88 Accord EXI 4 door...both great cars.
I’ve owned some of the cars you talked about. The 90 Prelude has those fiber reinforced cylinder walls = burning oil and worn rings. I still have a 93 with an H22 stock.
