How To Make Quick Delicious Marinara Sauce

  • Crushed Tomatoes 16oz
    Can of Sauce - 12oz
    Fresh Basil _few leaves
    Sangria Wine - ¼ cup
    Garlic - few
    Sugar- 1 tbs
    Salt - 2tbs
    Pepper- 1 tbs
    Oil - 2 tbs
    Tumeric 1/8 tsp
    Cayenne ½ tbs
    This is a sauce that takes about an hour and
    a half to make but still tastes great.
    The secret is the sangria and the fresh basil.
    Slice the garlic into long pieces
    Coarsely chop the basil
    Lightly fry the garlic in oil
    An iron pan helps prevent the sauce
    from burning on the bottom of the pot
    Put the garlic in the pot
    Add the cans of tomatoes
    Rinse the cans with about a half
    cup of water and add to the pot
    Add the sugar and spices
    Cover and simmer for about an
    hour, stir it occasionally
    Add the wine and basil
    Simmer for at least a half hour
    more and the sauce is ready
