I like to cook delicious and healthy food because it tastes good. I also would like to share my kitchen adventures with you.
The Best Granny Smith Apple Blackberry Pie!
Pie Crust:
Flour - 2/12 cups
Butter- two sticks
Salt 1/2 tbs
Ice Water- 8 tbs
The Pie:
Apples -8
Blackberries 1/2 cup
White Sugar 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar 1/2 cup
Butter-1/2 stick
Corn Starch 1 tbs
Cinnamon -2 tbs
Lemon Juice 2 spoon
Egg 01
Put the flour, salt, and sugar in a food processor
Mix well
Cut the COLD butter into small pieces
Add to the dry ingredients
Pulse until you see small balls of dough
Add the COLD water and pulse until it sticks together
Press it together without kneading
Separate into two equal disks
Wrap and refrigerate for an hour
Mix everything except the apples in a large bowl
Peel and core the apples
Slice into 1/4 inch (6 mm) slices
