Love to see this, the raw specimen side of craft crystals. Smoky topaz is not topaz just to clear any confusion. It’s quartz just like citrine and amethyst but was commonly refered to as smoky topaz after ww2 . Topaz is a different mineral on its own commonly irradiated to turn blue and is super cheap cause the treatments, also an 8 on the mohs scale so one of the harder minerals too.

If your videos have taught me anything it’s that I need to apply my skillset and talents into jewelry. Fine art paintings and illustrations are as valued as stale ramen noodles. Hell, a shoulder tattoo is higher valued than a 5’0 framed oil painting. I’m embarrassed, we are the same age and it’s taken me this long to figure this out. I’m getting into designing and sculpting jewelry and crystals.

I´m kinda sorry for being the guy to question everything but for me this looks like a simple bigger smokey quartz crystal, Topaz is orthorombic and this crystal clearly shows hexagonal prism faces... 2nd thing (this skull) is that Tourmaline doesnt match up with Topaz that often but Quartz does, especially if its an inclusion. Third thing is nobody pays 35.000 for this. I really hope nobody here is dumb enough to buy this as Topaz💀 The most sad thing is that we clearly see there is a Quartz specimen later in the vid and he keeps telling this is Topaz

People don't realize how much different forms of quartz can be worth, they easily can be in tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. Also that piece of sugilite is at minimum $7,000.00, if it is good color and facet quality is around $150.00ct. Remember a CT is 1/5 of a gram

Bruh "smoky topaz"?? That right there is smoky quartz, basically wortless crystal.. it is a misnomer of what it actually is.. it has nothing to do whatsoever with topaz.. just like citrine is a yellow quartz and has nothing to do either with topaz

Wow what a great guy! I'd like to buy that piece of Jade from him LOL but I also would love to do business with him because I feel like I'd be able to actually make money and not get screwed over with every single time I come by for a purchase of items that he knows I need to go and make money on. It's real hard to find people like this guy that you just interviewed because just like you always said tracks you've been fucked every single way possible and when you're supposed to take two steps of left somebody tells you to take 20 steps to the right and they don't care about anything as long as they can just get one over on you even if it's just for a couple dollars as long as they feel like they pulled one over on you they don't care about whether the bridge is burnt to the ground and you never come back. As long as they get what they want in that moment.
