A definite outlier in the Fish owl Family, small frame with bigger eyes and slimmer fur, it looks more like a Blakiston's owlet, the variety of nature is quite remarkable indeed.
I haven't ever seen a buffy fish owl before and this was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I think my favorite footage was at night especially with the parent and juvenile there is just something so precious and tender watching them together. May I ask what camera and lens you use? I'm Canon for my photos and there is no way I can even go past ISO 2000. This was extraordinary and I will be returning soon to watch this a few more times.
Thanks Heather :) you can find the camera/lenses i used in the description off the video. The panasonic GH5S is very good in lowlight (used iso204800 at max) especially with buffyowls that start getting active at dusk :)
This is channel is horrifiyingly underrated, seriously, this is some bbc level production
this is beautiful!
goodd

Blakinston's is considered to be more colsely related with Brown (zeylonensis), and Buffy so with Tawny (flavipes), if I'm not mistaken.
Wow, fantastic video 👍🎥
Many thanks!
