- Hi lovelies! I’m sharing with you guys my weight loss journey this year. At the beginning of this year I found out that I had to have my surgery for my (severe) case of Endomitriosis and 3 large ovarian cysts(one was so huge that it was almost bigger than my right ovary). As soon as I found out I had to go in, I decided to kick off health journey and I wanted to be in the best possible shape that I could be to give my body the best chance to recover after surgery.
More info on Endomitriosis here www.endometrio...
I have been diagnosed with Endomitriosis for over 10 years. I had my first surgery close to 10 years ago and the recovery for that was so horrible that I was so scared I will end up in a bad way again. But I knew the surgery it had to be done. By the end of last year, I was constantly in pain and I was probably bleeding more than anyone you know. It was a constant battle. When the pain is bad, I felt like someone has driven a car over my stomach. That’s probably the best way I can explain the pain.
3 weeks pre surgery, I started eating really well and probably worked out almost everyday. I was ready for the surgery. I felt healthy and strong and was ready for my surgery. I worked a lot on my cores before surgery. I knew that was the main area I was going to have problems with.
The surgery has changed my life. Not only it started something inside me that I didn’t know I could do. I always assumed I couldn't lose weight but just by tweaking your food and exercise routine, my weight just dropped off. I was eating as much as before but it was all home cooked food made by my momma. Nothing was processed and everything was delicious.
I don’t have any pain now whatsoever. I also get my period now for 4 days!!! That to me, is life changing in it self. From someone who used to bleed heavily constantly. When I say I feel like a new person, it’s because I am. The weight loss was the icing on the cake. I’m just happy feel so healthy, happy and pain free. I’m not here to preach about weight loss. I feel that you can be healthy, fit and strong at any size. That was my mind set, I wanted to be fit and healthy and the weight loss just came with it.
I have completely changed the way I eat and view food. I LOVEEEEE working out. The key is 80% healthy and 20% naughty is my life motto. If I want to eat a sticky toffee pudding on the weekend, I will!!! I’m all about enjoying life but everything to moderation.
Here are some of the videos I loved.
If you want to kick off your weight loss, I would recommend doing meal preps. This makes it so easy for you because you pre cooked all your food so you don’t have the excuse of “oh im starving, lets get a burger” moment.

THANK YOU so much for watching you guys! Something a little closer to my heart. My surgery for endomitriosis has been a life changing to for me. I got healthy on the back of it and weight loss was just the icing on the cake really. I no longer have any pain during my period or ever. For someone who couldn't even get out of bed because I was in so much pain and to be bleeding constantly was not fun. Now I don't have any pain and I get 4 days period! WHAT?????? I had no idea how this was how normal people feels. Ive always lived with this pain all my life. By getting healthy and eating well, I bounced back from surgery relatively quickly. Now I just LOVEEEE working out and eating well. So everything else was a bonus. It's all about lifestyle change. If i can do then YOU can too!! GOOD LUCK :) Lots of love always xxx Ash
As a fellow endo sufferer it's nice to actually hear someone say they have severe endo and it's actually true. A 5 hour surgery is insane, the longest mine have been are 4 hours but I'm on my third surgery in 4 years. So happy for you that your pain is starting to lessen
Ashleigh Larkin awww babe, u are on your third surgery? Wow. I hope you are feeling better now. It’s such an on going issue. But I have to say since the surgery last year, my pain has almost gone..... 🙏🙏 it’s been just over 13 months now and I still feel amazing. I hope you are too babe!! Xxxx
@@MissGunner unfortunately i get surgery every 18-20 months it seems but i'm an unlucky one. its just nice knowing theres people out there spreading a positive message and the correct information. glad you're doing so well
Ashleigh Larkin oh Ash!! I feel u. U poor thing. My doctor told me not to have expectations and the pain could be the same. So I had zero. If I felt 20% better that’s better than nothing. But I was lucky I felt 95% better. Ash are u in Australia????
i made a video on this topic and YT suggested this one and here I am.I was diagnosed with endo 4-3 surgeries,2 lost pregnancies, and 20 years later I finally managed to put my illness into remission naturally. IT IS POSSIBLE REGARDLESS WHAT,, GURUS,, TELLING YOU! NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. And weight loss...for a long time i thought I am fat without realizing it was just a chronic inflammation-make anti-inflammatory diet a LIFESTYLE and watch the magic happens...not only you gonna lose weight, get rid of the pain and bloating but if you stick with it endo will become only a distant memory. It's my 3rd-year endo free! Sending lots of love to who ever reads this!
Can you help me im suffering with severe pain because of endometriosis 😢
I'm having such a bad flare up, how do u manage to workout frequently with Endo? My muscles hurt and my joints,I'm scared that working out will make things worse
Hey lovely.. l noticed the shrinkage in you... Yes you do look amazing as always but what is most important that you are feeling well. So glad the surgery went well for you. Thankyou for sharing. You may have helped others who have this and dont know what to do.. look forward to seeing more content.. soon😘
Hi, this video has proved so helpful to me even though you made it 3 years ago... an Endometriosis update would be great but I appreciate if that's not something which fits with the content you usually make then you might not wish to do so. God bless 🙏🏽
What treatment are you following for your endometriosis???
Such a fab video! I had no idea about endometriosis so good on you about opening up about it xx
Thank you so much for this, I'm getting an ultrasound tomorrow to check for endo and im terrified,, thank you for talking about this and sharing your journey, i want to watch all your videos.. how did you get enough enery pre op??🙈
Aww thank u so much for watching babe!! Good luck! You will be fine no matter what. Just good to find out and then u can plan whatever needs to be done. Honestly! I wanted to be as fit as possible!! So I trained everyday. The more u train the more energy u have! U want to go into surgery in the best shape. Mentally and physically. Last surgery I had 10 years ago, I was unfit, unhealthy and let me tell u…. I had such a terrible recovery. (So I got scared and didn’t want to go through that again) all the best beautiful
How did this go for you? I just had an ultrasound Thursday. The technician told me there is no way to see endometriosis cells in ultrasound so I think I’ll have to get the laparoscopic surgery to get official diagnosis.
Hello gorgeous, thank you for sharing your experience. The most important thing is now that you feel awesome and that you can actually enjoy life
Jasminka D. Ahh thank u soo much lovely!!! I agree with u!!!!
You inspire me I'm a new subscriber I have endometriosis and I would like to lose weight like you

Has losing weight help your symptoms?
I have endo, so can I still go to the gym?
Hi lovely,
Yes you can! Exercise helps regulate hormones so it’s good for endo!
