    This is the best review on crochet hook set. Highly recommended for new crocheter or anyone who wants to add new sets of hooks to their collections.

    I’m so pleased to see that you recommend these wonderful Tulip hooks. These hooks, as well as the. Clover Amours, our, in my humble opinion, the best hoax on the market. I have very small hands and these hooks are perfect for me\
    \
    I always recommend that beginners start out with a high-quality hook, because such a hook will give them a much better first experience with Crochet an inexpensive no name will. I recommend that beginners by one or two of these hats and give them a try.

    Such an amazing review! Love how calmly you explained everything. As someone from Europe I see so many different hook sizes go around, and this just perfectly explains the differences in size. Thank you!

    This was the best review on crochet hooks I have ever seen. You explained everything so thoroughly. I don't crochet, but one of my co-worker does and I will certainly pass this great video on to her. Thank you. Sincerely, Elaine Rico

    I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, & I found a Boye ergonomic set of crochet hooks I stumbled across at my local Walmart, & I absolutely love them! Thank you for the in depth tutorial on the hook measurements, how to find conversion charts, & how to read the charts!
    I'm grateful there are other manufacturers of these wonderful hooks, & to find out they have the "steel" versions as well has truly lifted my spirits after an extremely rough week & weekend! I crochet almost every day to keep my dexterity, as well as to get ahead on Christmas gifts. My hands & other muscles cramp up as yours seem to do, despite Drs' help. They are usually kept at bay, but I'm sure you know about flares, & no one can really help with those.
    once again, thank you for this video & your other videos help people on more ways you could imagine! You have made me think it's possible for me to make more intricate patterns & items!

    Very thorough review. I purchased the gray/black set of Tulip's from Amazon for around $45 USD. These are excellent hooks and I find them to be easy enough to size.

    Thank you very much for explaining this. I wanted these but was concerned about the negative reviews. Your explanation makes sense re: the standard sizing. I can make my purchase now and feel secure about it. Very grateful for your review of these hooks

      The negative reviews were really frustrating me because I knew exactly why...so thank you! I'm hoping this video really explains to everyone why there is a size difference. There are different measurement systems based upon where products are made. (just like we have inches rulers here, but Japan and UK are metric rulers)

      @cathharr08 7 лет назад +2

      2tinytreasures I purchased my set and am in love with them. I have absolutely no complaints. The issue people were having with the stickers on the handle with the sizes...I don't find it an issue as I use an overhand type hold and therefore, never touch it..thanks again.

    Thank you for this video, it is the most informative that I have seen on these hooks. You have saved me a lot of frustration. I had no idea about the Japanese conversion. Thanks again.

    Wow, I have learned something tonight. Good video and good advice. You really prepared the video and took the time to even print out pages to show us. Thank you!
    I am German and use the metric system. Hence, I did not know all of this. They grey ones are cheaper here than the pink ones, but I love the pink ones. I have only a couple of my favorite sizes from Tulip and one of them is grey as I could not get that size in pink, though it is a simple 6,00mm hook.
    I am really glad that I am used to the metric system as I find it very convenient as it is also very consistent. However, most of the patterns I use are American and then I always have to look on a conversion chart to find my equivalent :)

    I am so appreciative of this information. I don't crochet but want to learn and I've been looking at different hooks. I've seen the rose and gray sets and wondered what the difference is. The information that you provided educated me on a number of things regarding hooks. Thank you so very much for your time and effort

    This was a very thorough, and helpful review. Thank you... I am so glad you have found crochet hooks that work fit you.. it should not hurt to crochet!💕.
    I have child sized hands, so I’m very comfortable with my regular Susan Bates hooks. I generally use only 3-4 sizes, so I don’t buy many sets..
    I do think the pink Tulips are pretty... I hope that adds to your pleasure in crocheting.

    Good information about the differences on handles but unfortunately for me is missing info about the hook itself in terms of material, grip of fiber , if they are rounded or pointed, deep hook /shallow. It'd be nice if you could make a part 2 talking about how they perform on different fiber / projects. Many thanks for sharing your knowledge.

    This is great review, thank you! I’ve been trying to understand why the Gray and the Pink sets have different sizes. This makes total sense. I was wondering, do you have an opinion or information on the Tulip Etimo Red set? thank u.

    • @2tinytreasures
      @2tinytreasures  3 года назад

      I believe the red set is the same measurements as the pink if I remember correctly. Mainly released in Japan. The main difference is the hook is less slick. It feels more similar to the Clover Amour finish.

    • @vegangelist
      @vegangelist 5 лет назад

      Flora Akongo you will have to look for the gray tulip hooks. Those come in American sizes and 2.75 is an American size.
      Do a search on Amazon for tulip etimo 2.75 and it should come up.
