it's a manufacturers defect, I faced exactly the same problem with my HP envy 15, i visied the authorized service center of HP and they refused to repair it because there is no available spare parts!!!!!! it was a very stupid reason and i decided do not to buy any of their products again in my life.
i'm still using it as a desktop computer with external monitor unfortunately since that time.

I have a question. I have this same problem but the frame of the screen is broken. But screen and laptop is working and I need the hinge and body replaced but they are saying I need to buy new panel if I want new frame? Is this true. I would never buy a new panel when my laptop screen is already working just for a hinge replacement

Is there any problem if I apply oil on the hinge, because it is already broken and repaired and is getting tight day by day.
No problem.. Just remove extra oil after applying it, if it's soo tight just losen the bolt of the hinges a bit if possible

This is just a temporary fix. It will break again. Buy a new one as soon as you can and adjust the screws on them every once in a while to prevent this from happening again.

I have had to replace these HP screen casings many times. Only If the customer does not want or can't afford the new case and hinges, I loosen the hinge nuts before using the glue, as shown in this video. It is a workaround, but it reduces the force at the hinges and prevents further damage while opening and closing.
