The only good thing about the new jerseys is the material and feel. There is no reason they should be charging $175 for them.

I’m a Giants fan and I’m pissed that every MLB team gets an adjustment to their white hue on their all white homes. Cream homes were our thing now you’ll barely be able to tell.

Crazy how so many of the players who like these also have Nike contacts. What are the odds of that?

So the Nike Vapor Limited jersey retails for $175 online and it’s not the premium version?? Absolute madness for a heat pressed, poorly made replica

The new jersey’s look like cheap knockoffs. They are terrible!

They are exactly that, the bootlegs look better in material and the seem on letters. Heavier is better tuffer and stronger.

It's not just one team or another team.. it's every single team. It looks like dollar store versions of their former selves. Ugly!!! Every last jersey

Great video Couch GM. Know nothing and will never know anything about the difference in how the jersey's feel. Will say that style wise the 90's Ken Griiffey Randy Johnson era uniform
is still the best looking one.

I don’t like them because they made the players name smaller, and the MLB logo more prominent. It might be weird, but it just doesn’t feel right. Lol

      @NervousHagrid2.0 7 месяцев назад

Yeah but if the names are smaller, names wont have to stretch all around the Jerseys. Thry do look a little minor league though.😅

The authentic has significant differences between its 2022 counterpart. One of those things is it's a little bit heavier Then last year's jersey, There's also no more embroidered sleep patches As well as the cosmetic changes that they made to this jersey where the collar and the sleeves are located. And now that we're well into the baseball season, a lot of players are still venting frustration over these jerseys. I'm still debating if I should get an authentic jersey for this year.....

First impression is not all around positive, but let’s see some spring games first and see how we feel a month from now. Definitely not a fan initially of how cheap they look in these screenshots. We will see.

Just an fyi, ever since nike started doing the jerseys, replicas have been heat pressed, while authentics were stitched. That being said, older replicas still look much better and the ones from the team store have a real patch.

I own a few 'blank back' baseball jerseys but they are authentic. What's your take on wearing blank backs out and about casually?....some people say they would never wear a blank but some will. I don't know how to feel about it I wanna look cool and standout while wearing mine.

It’s not surprising but disappointing especially with Nike being a billion dollar company in a leagues like mlb and nba that make billions they don’t invest properly into the look… I stand by it when I say nba jerseys haven’t look the same or authentic since Nike took over and now it’s the same with mlb they just look cheap and no effort put into them

They’re trying to do the same stupid marketing shit they did with NFL jerseys that I hated. The fact they used to be sold as “authentic” (actual on field jerseys) and replicas made it much easier to know what I was actually buying. The Phillies are a perfect example, because their text logo on the jerseys is fully embroidered on the authentic jerseys, and the difference in quality is huge from the replicas. Now I can’t tell if they’re going to be using dumb low quality screen printed graphics even for the pro jerseys, and it’s going to be harder now buying the true on field jerseys with their stupid naming schemes. Big thumbs down for Nike they really are screwing something up that shouldn’t have been changed. If they wanted to just improve the fabric and design that’s one thing, but completely rebranding the jerseys with multiple kinds and lowering the quality of the pro jerseys is just such a bad look for Nike, and I’m sure it has everything to do with cost cutting measures, as it’s so much quicker to screen print then to stitch and embroider. I’m glad I got my authentic jersey last year which is clearly the superior jersey over this dumb shit. Hope the players speaking out might make some changes, but I doubt it.

The older Nike replicas are not stitched, they're also heat pressed. They're also missing things like the sleeve patches. I'm not condoning the new Fanatics jersey by any means, but details in reporting matters.

I HATE this garbage jersey. How can MLB be such blockheads as to let Nike out out anything? The thing that bothers me most is the off-white home jerseys. EVERY TEAM is now the same dingy shade of white. And that matters too because the Dodger Wedding Gown White is as much a part of their kit as the Blue. It’s not SUPPOSED to be the same white as the other teams. Same with the A’s. And the Dodger logo on the front looks reflicktid with the split right down the middle of the lower case d. I hate these.

It’s not Nike. It’s fanatics. They do all of the letters, numbers, and logos to cut more costs. Which is why they have c,d and f tier players authentic jerseys readily available. Before it would be a select couple from each team IF that and would have to customize the rest.
