In the movie he wasn't doing that much of Muay Thai in the movie it was more Muay boran because of the jumping knees and elbows and high kicks and there was a little bit of Muay Thai when he did the clinch on the 3rd fighter in the underground fight club but it was more Muay boran then Muay Thai in the film

You’re all wrong. This is not Muay Thai or Boran Tony jaa invented a style called muay jaa phanom the movie calls it elephant style Muay Thai. Completely made up with different techniques. I think it has a heavier emphasis on unorthodox elbows and a lot of flying knees. The clinch even looks way different than the regular Thai clinch. So does the fighting stance. Almost like an elephants trunk.
I’ve seen the roll used in forms sort of as a placeholder for a block/trap/back fist or elbow sequence. Sort of like climbing the ladder. Left hand block/right hand trap/left back fist or elbow. When you get the rhythm down you are basically rolling your hands. That’s just my guess anyway. Some people learn forms thinking it’s just like some fancy dance they have to learn for a test. But if you have a good teacher who knows the art, they know each technique has a purpose. Once you know that, I think the form makes more sense. You can begin to visualize your opponent and that makes it real and relevant and worth learning.
@@DK-iw9jz of course! it's the same but as khmer i believed the thais are doing better. they know how to spread it to global stage for their identity and national pride. regarding technique, it's almost the same....but again the thais are much more dedicated thus they can develop their fighters stronger and faster than we can. i'm shameful that my government did nothing beside supporting their fellow elites and fucking corrupt together unlike thailand govt they are doing, they support their national sport! this is why foreigners know muay thai but not knowing Kun Khmer

Name of the form????? Please.
3K Martial Arts Shihan Erika I have very searched it's name...
I dont know, but the martial art is muay boran (sorry for bad english)
Mae mai
It's not Mae Mai. In Mae Mai have diferent techniques.
Kon Muay Kee (counterattack techniques) + Kon Muay Jujom (attack techniques) from the traditional martial art - Muay Thai Boran.
I dont get the roll thing
you just roll your hands up like wrapping up your handwraps and ending up with the right arm.

Phuc Lee i see because both thai and khmer have related martial art
I think khmer bokator and muay boran are related to each other
