You nailed it: Rook Exodus makes you feel like a kid one more time, dreaming, living and enjoying a fantastic adventure. A great surprise, and the best of the year speaking about comics.
The Ghost Machine books have all been great, but my favourites by far have been Red Coat and Rook. This week I am going for both Rook and Conan and Epitaphs from the Abyss. Love the independent comics.
Surprised theres no Nice House By the Sea. I wonder if because of the slight name change it’s going under the radar for people not realizing it’s NHOTL
I love Ram Vs run on Detective comics. It is definitely a slow burn and if you are expecting a lot of physical fights, you are probably going to be disappointed. But there are a lot of twists and turns as the story unfolds, that make it great in my opinion. Outside of a couple issues, I enjoy it a lot more than Zdarskys Batman run
"NYX"? NFW! Haha! 'Nuff said on that. "Rook" is great and will keep checking that out. Agree that it's second only to "Transformers" right now, which is very impressive considering it's such a new character. "UBP" started strong, but the pace is just too slow for me. Had to drop it. Don't read "Defective Comics", and Tom Taylor joining the book means I'll continue to avoid it.
I have been reading Ram V's Detective Comics run since the first issue. We are now heading towards the end of his story but, i have been loving it. It is a slow burn but, it's very deep and atmospheric.
@@ComicBookCorner2.0 I love that the spawn titles are $2.99 but I find sometimes they can really drag a story out. So i end up buying more issues and giving the savings back
What is the older person in one comic shop.there this guy i asked him how long hes been collecting.he said 62 years collection comics.i thought he was in his late 50 .his name is Mikey and hes 74. I was shocked.
Only Void Rivals and Rook are on my pull list from the most pulled but looking forward to a bunch of titles this week including Sacrificers, Conan, Annihilation 2099, & The Six Fingers
I'm reading all the spawn titles except Misery & Sam and Twitch. After yesterday's movie news that the Spawn movie us "King Spawn," I expect that book to move up. Rook is hands down the best book on the racks next to Transformers, and it's not even close man. Have a great day #staylegendary & much ❤
Void rivals moving way too slow. I’m off at the end of the arc maybe pick up trades going forward. Gonna pick up green arrow with the new writer in a few months. One of the only books giving a new writer a chance instead of swapping everybody around.
NYx: absolutely excited; kamala makes me giggle, anole is affinitied, sophie is 1st cuckoo to fly free?, and cover 2 is hilarious cuz Kinney looks like she farted a wall into oblivion, ...
Spawn minis are not great.but the main line comics are. Scorched is the best team comic out there. Gunslinger is awesome .spawn is cool .and king spawn is dark and liking the story so far.
Would’ve been excited for NYX if it was an actual Vol. 3 of NYX and not just bastardizing the name. Kiden (from NYX vol 1 and 2) is a cool original character, but no shove more Ms. marvel down our throats.🙄🙄🙄 I do not have high hopes for this From the Ashes era 😔

I think you are right I didn't even hear about it until 2 weeks ago.

Gunslinger is my go-to scorched I read in the beginning but for some reason I dropped off of it.

Rook Exodus is great! I'm enjoying Geiger and RedCoat from GhostMachine also.
I am looking forward to all the other titles when they come out also.

I can understand that when it comes to Void Rivals. That is just the way Kirkman writes his books.
Void Rivals has been good and so has SIKTC. I haven’t begun reading Exodus yet. A book everyone should read is Penguin. It’s been really good.
Once you read Exodus I think you might be blown away.

haven’t really enjoyed the current Flash run so far. Holding on until the next arc starts. If I don’t like the first issue I’m done
