Thank You Lynnette! That means so much. I appreciate it, and was hoping that peace might be nearby, as it felt that way the day it was recorded. Being on the porch, hearing the birdsong, the soft passing of cars sounding like waves on the shore, all those things kind of evoked presence in the moment. An old song found some new wings. The video became something else entirely, an experiment in trying some new techniques in editing world. Polar opposite of the simple stereo recorder that captured the audio. Thank you again!! Thank You Jon!! This fella was recorded with a Tascam DR100MkIII, a stereo mic on the porch chair next to me. There was a few takes, as I had to learn to sing and play with proportionate volumes, since there would be no post edit audio fixes. There is a touch of reverb added, and the birds and cars naturally happened on the recording take. The video editing was all done in Apple Motion, a fun little program that could take a lifetime to learn! So glad and grateful ya liked this tune, man 😃
