If a factory reset doesn't fix it, then I think you might need another one. If you have the tools and experience you can try to disassemble and check for damage

my touch isn't working. but the display works fine? any idea
if it isn't broken then maybe some damage to the cable. I think is not that common for a software issue to cause it
