To everyone saying this wouldn't work in a fight, keep in mind not all martial arts are strictly for practical fighting moves. A lot are just for fun. This is a cool, fun sport. Enjoy it and stop whining about how easily you could kill these talented teenagers with your awesome melee weapons.

That Pinto kid is amazing! I also like his on stage sportsman conduct. I think it ruins it when they mock their opponent(s), it makes them look like the bad guy or conceited.

The traditional martial arts stans who came here thinking they were going to actually fight with real sharp swords are clowns themselves because real sword fights pretty much never happen anymore. Grow a pair of balls and accept that different people enjoy different things. Quit thinking that extreme martial arts is gonna be the death of traditional martial arts, because it’s not, it’s only gonna die faster if you continue to act like this.
