Todays vlog is SO SO SPECIAL because it's bexleys first easter!!! she also meets her great-grandparents for the first time!!!
Bexley looks like an exact cross between Lacey and Eli. I've never seen a baby resemble both of her parents so much!
Bexley has princess energy. She ain't holding no toy. Mama and dada got to hold it for her 😗
What a beautiful tradition your grandma has with the Easter baskets. Can't believe she still has yours. That's fantastic! You know, things happen with babies, the things that happened to me with 3 boys were hilarious. So don't worry about it. You learn as you go. Bexley is just so beautiful 😍! God Bless. ❤

Lesson learned: ALWAYS pack extra outfits even if you don't think you need them! LOL Sorry, it was so chaotic but what fun memories that still got made! :)
My kid has like 3 outfits in her bag at all times with all variations of long sleeves, short sleeves, sweaters, warm pants, shorts etc you really truly never know.
Even when I plan her outfit for a special event I always bring a specific “back up” for the occasion.
And extra outfits for adults. Can't even remember how many times one of mine threw up on me.
New parent suggestion: always pack extra clothes for the whole family. I put mine in a plastic box in the trunk. Life. Saver.

As a mom of twins I always buy multiples of the same outfit (not only so they match but to have extras) I’d highly recommend buying an extra of the special outfits for the day so if she doesn’t have an accident or spits up you can not only change her but she’ll be in the same outfit so you can still do pictures.

I always wonder how kids end up in Foster care when they have loving grandparents. I would take my grand kids in a second. She is adorable in her Easter outfit. Sounds like a busy day.
these grandparents had custody for awhile!! however, my dad got out of prison and got us back. all for us to end back up in foster care again. unfortunately the system fails sometimes.

It's Ok to feel overwhelmed and have a cry, first big blow outs are always tricky but you both did amazing. You can always take easter pictures after Easter 🐣 x

When they are growing out of a size of diaper, blowouts mean they have actually grown out of them. They may still fit around her waist, but there isnt enough room from front to the back in length. It needs to hang just a bit more between her legs than it can. That is my theory after having 4 babies! Hope that makes sense! I would save the size 1 diapers for another baby or give them to someone else. Good luck! Her outfit was super cute!
Correct - nappy blowouts are typically caused when nappies are ill-fitting. This can mean that either they are too tight or too loose.
You guys she just keeps getting more and more adorable!! I wanna squish those cheeks. What great parents you two handling the blow out like champs. Will be a great Easter story to tell her when she’s older.

I was a first time mama of twin boys and they both came down with the rotavirus. We were driving somewhere and they both started getting sick EVERYWHERE and I remember pulling over on the side of the road, I was crying because I was overwhelmed, they they crying because their tummies hurt and I had a huge mess all over everything. We have all be there hun and you are NOT a bad mama. Things happen they we don’t except and it’s overwhelming sometimes especially when you’re a first time mama. I was only 19 at the time and by the time I had my last son, I was calm as a cucumber. I didn’t let anything bother me probably because taking care of 1 was much easier than twins and I was older. Anyway she will have lots of more accidents and you will definitely be prepared next time. Y’all are amazing parents. God Bless Y’all 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

You can always take Easter pictures in your matching outfits once you get them washed. May not be on Easter but you will still have them. Love you guys

She’s tiny and precious! My chunky 9 week old is in 6-9 months and it’s true with pampers. Huggies is my favorite
Both of my babies used Huggies too and for the same reason. What I did with anything other than Huggies, was to exchange them. That way you will always know what you’re baby will wear. 🥰 My oldest had VERY bad projectile vomiting and she did in the car 30 minutes from home. I was so glad I had extra clothes but unfortunately I didn’t have an extra car seat, (not that anyone would). We had to wait on Daddy to come to our rescue with his car seat. Bexley is getting so big. She is such an adorable little girl!🥰🥰🥰

As a mom I always kept an extra outfit in the car for my kids just in case. It’s also a good idea to keep something for you to throw on in case of such emergency too. You’ll never forget this Easter though so I’d say, memories were made, mission accomplished😁🤣

Happy 1st Easter Bexley! Love her Easter outfit. Always pack 3 changes of clothes when if you're just going to the store because you never know if your plans change. Always have everything for the whole day, water, formula, breast milk... Whatever you're using. And always a outfit change for yourself. If I go 45 minutes or more away I have an overnight bag. Maybe that's just me but we often change plans and add on so I'm always prepared.

Awe so cute, I still have the first stuff I put on my daughter. Outfits she wore in the hospital, one of her first little diapers out of her first pack of them. Her first halloween costume and headbands
Parent tips: return the pampers and exchange for Huggies! Love Huggies. Always plan for the worst and hope for then best! NEVER go anywhere without an extra outfit.

As I found out is best to always pack extra cloth one outfit for summer and one for cold weather and a throw blanket u never know what can happen or how quick the weather can change and like my dad always told me put it in the trunk u don't have to carry it the car will and u will always have a change of cloths a blanket if u ever need it.. love ur little family and all is a learning experience

Bare baby feet are the cutest!! I feel so bad for you said she was crying in the carseat. My neice HATED the car and cried every single trip until she was 2! oh noooooo thats horrible when you were all ready on the way to going out! Funny when you were talking about Pampers, I hate those for so many reasons! Always plan for two special occasion outfits and bring extra clothes for emergencies!! Great idea using daddy's extra shirt once you got her cleaned up! So sorry that your Easter plans didn't turn out the way you hoped but good for you for making the best of a bad situation because at the end of the day she is ok and you got to introduce her to family! Love that your grandma saves the easter baskets!! I still have my stocking, a Christmas ornament, a rocking chair and a teddy from when I was small (I am 54) I LOVE the quilt! So sweet that she embroidered it too! I HOPE YOU HAVE READ THIS COMMENT BEFORE YOU WASHED THAT QUILT-I have two handmade ones, they need to be washed on gentle cycle or ideally by hand so that the stitching doesn't come out! the outfits are adorable!

Happy first Easter!!! Just do pics a week or few days late and u will still have the memories!!! I agree with you on the diapers!!! Huggies have been the best! May be a little more $ but they last longer and save on extra laundry that you end up having when you wear other diapers that leak! We used huggies only up until like size 4 & we still use huggies night diapers and all good diapers for day and they have been pretty nice too.

Girl keep an emergency bag/box in the trunk!!! I learned that lesson real quick..:even if it’s a quick run to the corner store anything can happen, they spit up, throw up, poop etc. But you guys are doing great. Good morning everyone happy Thursday morning and I just wanted to say that your vlogs makes me feel happy and you guys are sweetheart and I loved your channel always because you are amazing vibe
New mom problems. I will never forget my first nephew's first blow out at Chili's and washing his outfit, while his mom cleaned him up. I learned from her new mom probs, and tried to always have 2 spare outfits for baby, and spare outfits for myself. I can't tell you how many times we actually had to go to the store to buy some cheap outfits because, mom fail, I forgot to replace the last spare. Rule of thumb, when planning photoshoots, stick with a onesie until right before the shoot and then do a quick wardrobe change.
Oh my gosh Lacey my grandma reuses the same Easter baskets too!! I thought it was so interesting that your grandma does the same thing!!
