Funny thing about that is I had called my local toco bell asking about the free toco and after talking to a employee who knew nothing about it probably handed me over to a manager who also didn’t know about the free toco’s for stolen bases.
So sadly not everyone got to enjoy a free toco 😒

You forgot Max Muncy, My wrist still hurts.
To be fair to the Dodgers players, Morton's broken leg wasn't the main weight-bearing bone so it wasn't as bad as it could have been, while the injuring of muscles like the hamstring are both probably more immediately painful and restrict movement more noticeably since it's the muscles that allow you to move. In Scherzer's case, he was EXTREMELY overused, to the point that he was physically incapable of bringing his A-Game without rest.

As a Houstonian I can tell you Valdez is inconsistent. He can pitch like god one game and the next look like a journeyman. Hes only in his second year so I think he has a good future ahead of him. That's the Astros downfall, their starting pitchers are all inexperienced. At some point you need pitching. Cant rely on your offense every night

Morton is huge loss for the Braves. Especially with how good the Houston lineup is. You could always count on him to get you 5 plus innings and 3 or fewer runs it seems. Anyway, hopefully they still pull it out!! Go Braves!!!

The Braves have suffered enough heartbreak in their history over the years (save for 1995 of course but that was one small moment of greatness).
Maybe 1914 (Boston) and 1957 (Milwaukee) were blips of greatness as well but still.

@@mikemossa9640 I think it was over 10 straight division titles, but yes they should’ve won of course more than 1 (should’ve maybe gotten 1991 and 1996 as I felt they were the best chances).
@@RYMAN1321 David Justice and Sid Bream were my favorite hitters. Smoltz and the Professor Maddox are favorite pitchers. They had some amazing teams for damn sure.

The home plate umpire tried to help the astros all night with bad calls against the Braves
Absolutely right. Braves pitchers were definitely not getting the same strike call that Astros pitchers were, and some of the strike calls vs. Braves hitters were ridiculous. Very poorly called game overall, lot of misses, and the misses were one-sided.

7 years ago an 88 win team won the World Series when the Giants beat the Royals in 7 tense games. Game 7 belonged to Madison Bumgarner who held K.C. scoreless over the final 5 innings in K.C. to preserve a 3-2 win. Are the Braves the next such team?

I'll have to try their radio broadcast with the TV feed on mute. If I have to listen to any more of John Smoltz talking about his career the whole game or launching into weird steam-of-conscious tangents I'm going to bash my head against the wall.

The NL east may be less competitive but whenever a team from the East makes a playoff run they usually get to the world series not many divisions see that

@@bunkydamonkey1225 because the way it's setup, divisions rarely stay the toughest. This year it was the West, next year it may be the Central, and 2023 the East. It depends on who gets what in the offseason.
As much as I hate the co-NL east teams, gotta represent NL east when they are playing in post season.
People forget that besides the Nationals (once they lost Scherzer), the NL East was stacked with quality pitching. Specifically starting pitching.
Mets, Phillies, and even Marlins have some serious arms. Mets and Marlins just lacked any offense and the Phillies made a late push the Braves were fortunate to fight off considering the soft schedule for PHI and the hard schedule for ATL the 2nd half of the season.
They also forget the Braves played the Giants 3-3 this year and took 2 of 3 from LA before the All-Star break and got swept for 3 after but lost by 1, 1, and 2 runs and in two of those games the Braves gave up the lead in the 7th or later.....it isn't like they haven't been able to play with the best this year so far.

I am a blue Jays fan but I started out as a Braves fan as a child because I would watch their games during the Chipper Jones era over on TBS.

Houston haven’t won a Home World Series game since Game 5 2017. Loss all home appearances vs Washington in 2019
As for the Braves 1995 was their last time they won the World Series.
