I have a suggestion. next time you add ribbon to a bow, sew them on to the white rectangle first then sew it to the other white rectangle that way when you turn it right side out all the ribbon edges will be nice and even and tucked in to the end of the bow. ^_^ love you videos

I do it by not using elastic thread, but by using trouser elastic and sewing it perpendicular to it in sections by folding up the material between the two seams. This will allow the rubber to stretch. The more that is left, the more the rubber can stretch.
im still having issues with sewing with the elastic thread is there any particular brand i need to buy? i can show you a picture of what happened when i tried it on a piece of scrap cloth if this helps

My girlfriend made a Ciel dress. Hers was purple (it was a prototype she just decided it was good enough and she wanted to work on other projects) and she made an actual corset for it. She looks adorable in that dress... she looks adorable in just about everything... (/ω＼)
