I can't hear Rolling Girl without thinking about Wowaka damn, it's the first time the death of a composer makes me feel sad for so much time. His music really connected with many people who were going through a lot. It's sad when you know the meaning of most of his songs and Wowaka's struggles with Miku and fame, but at least he left a mark in the VOCALOID community that no many can. RIP

This song is literally describing depression and what it means to deal with it on a daily basis. It's not just about being "sad" or "bullied". It means you deal with anger and frustration, you're constantly fighting your inner demons that tell you you're unwanted or a failure no matter how hard you try, you lose motivation in things you love, you're pretending to be okay when you just want someone to see through your facade of "I'm fine" -- but you keep pushing on for "one more day" in the hopes things will change.
Sadly, the ending of this song also describes someone who eventually gives up after fighting so hard for so long.
Ikr? And the high energy really emphasizes how much people have to FIGHT to keep it together and keep going.

2:44 This scene always made me tear up, she is falling down and everything around her also falls apart. But I especially got sad when she fell down in the sky, thinking she took her own life looking at the original song and lyrics. Not many artists can hit me like that. Rest well Wowaka. I just want to say that this song is an EXTREMELY well portrayal of depression. you're constantly stuck in a loop of self-pity, but you're still self-deprecating. you find solace in your dreams, because no matter what you do, you feel lonely. (0:30 to 0:38) you're always surrounded by people, but you feel lonely. when praised you feel like the ruler of the world, but when you get the slightest hint of failure, you go into a mental spiral. (1:05 to 1:18) you live every single day feeling lethargic and fantasizing about escaping your problems, but then you can't help but feel scared of it. you start to wonder if it's really worth the effort, because no matter what you do, you're still going to be living everyday. then at 2:48 the music starts to get more chaotic, because that's your mind. the overlapping voices are in your head, but they affect you outside of your head too. You're drowning in your own emotions, until you truly begin falling because that's what you wanted in the end.
I've recovered from my rolling girl syndrome, but I would not wish it upon my worst enemy. if you're a rolling girl/boy/person, I'm you'll recover too soon! it just takes some time.

I was suicidal and sad and had panic attacks a lot and this song had gave me panic but it was this weird panic and I wanted more and couldn’t get enough of it. It was a very helpful song. 2:21 in my opinon I think this is where rolling girl decides to end it, (sorry I don’t have the time frame of where she bursts into the library looking room but that’s where she decides it) she bursts through the door running up the stairs to the rooftop only to have the stairs ripped from under her showing that she’s jumped and she’s tumbling,plumiting and rolling to her inevitable death. The stairs crashing could also symbolise her life falling from under her as she won’t live to see another day. Anyone who is feeling hopeless and is considering suicide please contact suicide hotline and other authorities, suicide is never the answer even if you are tired and loosing hope. If you keep going you’ll see the end of the depressive tunnel, a light not necessarily meaning death but maybe getting out of the depressive state, just know that you will never be alone even if You think you are alone you aren’t I promise you, at the end of every storm is a rainbow.

First of all “retexture” is a word used for hair and skin healing and cosmetics. Second of all, editing a model is called EDITING A MODEL. Third of all, texture has nothing to do with the RGB graphics of a model, which is what you were talking about with the wowaka heart edited on to her and etc. Texture is the feel of the model, which could be implemented with RGB graphics but most of the time you use selection editing. Texture is the feel of graphics not its appearance. Finally, please learn how to spell, use a dictionary, and how to use google to make sure what you’re writing A) makes sense and B) isn’t stupidity.

ill drop my ramblings about my visage of this song so do feel free to disagree in the coments of this post (btw tw: sh, not EFL, depresion, mentions of suicide):
as we all know "rolling" is meant to represent "living", so the rolling girl is a living girl by extention. but the way i see this story going is this:
A girl (that shall be refered as Miku from now on) is facing depresion, and keeps telling herself that one more day rolling will be ok. during the first courus we see the boy that sticks with her through the depresion. on the next verse, we notice that Miku resorted to things such as self harm to push forward for one more day rolling. the second courus begins and we see her pushing through again, as the boy asks "Is it enough yet?" like he is confronting her about the situation, and, in her spiral, Miku pushes him away. as the second courus ends, Miku takes her hands to her neck in an attempt to end it all, but he bursts in, grabing her hands, forcing her to stop it before she dies, as the final courus finaly bursts into a wild world of color and hope as they talk with the words "Is it enough yet?" "It's fine" "You will probably be tired soon, right?" as the song ends with the two holding each other, almost like they are promising to fight the depresion together.
now onto my closing thoughts on this:
maybe my visage on this song is more hopefull than most as, well, i belive thats what the song is meant to bring, hope, a hope that you can go for another day rolling, and eventualy come out on top. i like this as it shows that depresion isent a hopeless battle, it shows that you can do it again, **one more time, one more time**.

The meaning of “one more roll.” symbolizes that she tried many times before giving up. Same thing as saying “One more day.”

It was Deco27 that got me into Vocaloid. Actually the Japanese metal group Hanabie did covers of Deco27. I was neutral to Wowaka at first. After 3 months I am starting to love his music.

A few comments are saying she dies in the video right at the cut from the stairs, but I think she's dead the entire video but doesnt realize it till she falls down the stairs. That's why she looks confused right before she falls down the stairs. It's probably also why the school is so dull and empty. I think she might be in some sort of limbo, and the ending with the collapsing stairs is maybe her remembering how she died, via jumping off a building. Thats shy she looks very sad and closes her eyes in acceptence as she reaches out her hand to someone offscreen who isnt there at the very end
