- Well here we are my first videos of 2020 and I head down to All Saints Church in the Mumbles to do some videos.
I was hoping to stay on for a bit longer but they needed to lock up the Church where I could easily gone out the fire exit door!
Other than that it got off to a bit of a disaster as I had forgotten my Organ Shoes!
So I plodded on in any case but what I thought Id do it do a video test of my Sony FDR AK33 Camera to see how it performs along with my Rode NT5 Microphones and here is the result.
For my first test I'm playing the hymn "Abide With Me" that I did on the Organ here way back in my 2012 and had Over 230,000 Views since then!
I had planned to do the "last verse" but left the book at home but will head back here next week to re-do the ones that I did and a few others planned also.
Thanks to Carl Richards for helping me to make the videos too.

I love the swells in the last stanza. Great play as always
Many thanks!
Sounds like the old gal could be doing with a good pipe tuning, nonetheless lovely video
Its due for a refurb soon too, thanks!
Excellent, Rob.
The crem (almost every service I've conducted there) and of course, the Cup Final!
Thanks Keith!
How are you so controlled with the pedals? I have to do it barefoot because I keep accidently pressing more than one pedal at a time and creating a horrific discord. I imagine you have many years of experience, and I'm quite new to the organ. Do you have any tips or just to keep practising?
Its due to many years experience, I started off having lessons and that's where I learned the Skill of doing it :-)
That organ has such a badass sound!! Beautiful, with lovely tones. Lovely hymn, too.
Many thanks Sandra!
Enough Sound to make anyones pictures to fall of the floor!
Heavenly bliss, thankyou Rob, god bless.
Many thanks!
Rob..i thought you would have committed ALL of Noel's 200 last verses to memory!! Well, you have another reason to post many more videos..Cheers from the USA!!
No need the music to hand - so stay tuned for future videos!
That was lovely Rob :)
Thanks Brandon!

I love this song rob. It's very nice
Thank You!
Brilliant Rob👍 Nice picture. Overall sound excellent and really clear but would have personally liked just a touch more volume.. (Probably just me going deaf cranking the volume up hehe) Bass coming through quite strong!
Many thanks! Anymore Volume would make your pictures fall of the wall and smash! LOL :-)
Thank you for playing the pipe organ and sharing with us. I miss the organ in our local church since a bad flood a few years ago.
A Pleasure - in one of my own Churches that I reside (St Cadocs Church Cheriton) We had an Eminent for the last 19 years which sadly got compromised in a Church Flood, we now have a Viscount Chorum 40 - in situ since Jan 2021 which provides a great sound!
Bedankt voor het plaatsen van deze en andere video's.
En een muzikaal 2020 .
Groeten van Gerry Kozijn.
