1v1 simple. 2v2 3v3 are the most complicated and there is no place for luck . i guss that's why ppl can be consistant there .

@@zizouwowist1641 even as a gnome, to be able hang w one of the best mages says something ab him. You can also tell by playstyle and globals that he is no scrub. Should he have won theoretically? Yes. Is he a bad player? No.
@@HiCenjoyer this is tbc the gameplay is the same . nova icelance there is no mechanic at all so there is no big skill gape.

I was a great mage in vanilla TBC. Ran a great wpvp guild and was a boss. Seeing these videos gives me so much nostalgia but I can't bring myself to ply TBC classic cause I've lost all my friends and know deep down, it wouldn't be the same...

If you have mates that can lock down the target long enough without them having any escape tool then yes frostbolt isnt a dps loss. Most classes cant do 2.5-3sec casts without the target also being cc'd

We used to have big 1v1 tournaments on TBC private servers, with good players like Rivah, Azie, Scopemeup etc. The fun thing about the duels thou, was that EVERYTHING was allowed.
Not everything was allowed lmao. We always dueled with arena rules. You can’t use fap or grenades in a duel.
Challenging a multi glad mage to gold duel.. what a waste of 2k gold lol
They should remove engi belt from ranked arenas. It's so much more powerful than grenades (which requires engi but you aren't allowed to used in arenas) 🤔

Its a myth that warlock should easily beat mage 1v1. It stems from 2v2 arena with healer. In a situation where there is no los obstacle mage with 2 blocks and 2 pets should win vs warlock
Youre actually asleep at the wheel. Warlocks have more sustain + mage killer pet. They can usually outlive your burst. The only reason xaryu makes it look that way is because hes mastered mage.
Also mind you he had to engi belt and it was still close.

@@HiCenjoyer the pendulum swings both ways with lock vs mage. Mage has just as many mitigation tactics to level with the locks ability to kill them.

If u want a 1on1 where only skill matters then play without pots and profession items. :p
If they both belt it would be way easier he only has to sit block for its duration, and this lock loses because doesn't double silence with pet resummon and isnt devour spamming mage on cd

I'd like to apologize for my dip last night in SSC, I was not in the correct frame of mind to play. I should have stated that before the raid, I even muted myself so I wouldn't have any outburst of anger for dumb shit. Multiple issues were bothering me, and I don't know why I didn't speak up at the time; but I'll try and suppress those feelings in the future. Again, I'm sorry for letting everyone down.
