One of the best 1v2s I think I’ve ever seen. A mage v a dk and feral no less. GG Xar.
That feral was very bad though stayed out in the open no pillar playin.. and im always suspicious of them havng the percent on so we cant see how geared they actually are.. lol still fun to watch

Yea the feral was playing that so bad I thought he was a healer just buying time to maybe res or something. This doesn't take away from the incredible 1v2 however it does show how broken feral is in general that you can be that bad but just que with a DK and have a solid record. 2 of the most broken classes together makes sense.
How does this man stay calm when 2v1 these people? Jeezes
There were easily 20 situations where i thought "holy shit that play was so perfect", everything is very good in his playstyle, how he coordinates his positioning, how he pays insane ice walls to defend himself between the burst phases where the feral took forever to beatdown, or at the small bridge he placed the wall excactly that the feral couldnt walk up, all these details make Xaryu so hard to kill, without these plays the game wouldve been long over, dk and feral have both so many advantages against mage. He didnt talk during the match because he had to concentrate so hard because it was a basically losing matchup, pulling this off was very impressive.
Alright. I'm playing frost mage. Idk if I'll ever be that good, but the fact that someone can is enough motivation for me

I like how everyone comments "they were 1600 blah blah". 1v2 is still hard if they have any sense at ALL. It is 2 players versus 1. It's not like frost can 1 shot in a blink of an eye. Give the man the thumbs up and the credit deserved xD

The amount of sustain healing a mage has in current wow is actually sickening.
It's more the insane mobility.

Sustain healing? He only had block, eating and canibalize doesnt count, or shield.
I cant beat a dk 2v1. Here this guy is beating a fucking dk AND feral alone, this is why I watch these videos. I wish to be this good one day.

Dk and a feral combo is almost impossible for a frost mage alone its a counter. They were not that good but even so its still impressive because they can be trash and its still difficult

Yeah I noticed how much he played frost during 9.0 or 9.1like all mage streamers..Tells you a lot how frost was good before 9.2,even venruki geared up high rating as fire before switching to frost.Keep in mind high rated players play with other high rated players..

As much as I love Xaryu, shit like this is why I will always consider mage broken and needing to be nerfed lmao (que the salt comments)
Shouldn't be any salty comments it's true. What he did was absolutely broken. He nearly doubled the healing of a class that has hybrid healing. A feral druid, and DK shouldn't even have to try to 2v1 a mage, it should be a non-contest, but this class/spec has been a Blizzard favorite since Burning Crusade. Sure the players were much less skilled than him, but what he did wouldn't be possible on most classes/specs other than maybe warlock.
When he killed the DK it was actually very little skill expression, pretty much killed him 100-0 in 5 seconds with a couple frost bolts and ice lances. A little longer because he lived @1% but that's just RNG more than anything.
Best CC in the game, best mobility, two invincibilities, a 6 second lockout, competitively one of the best bursts in the game, they can peel insanely well, they have an invis that let's them get a huge setup vs anything that doesn't have stealth, and they have one of the most niche powerful abilities in the game in ice-wall if used properly, and the icing on the cake is they can just eat in arenas to full which is pretty easy to do vs almost everything other than feral druid, and he STILL managed to do it.
I think it'd be pretty hard to say that warlocks, mages, and rogues aren't overpowered right now. At least outlaw, and sub rogues have some skill-expression though :)
@@itscodyman2075 I'm so glad to find someone else that thinks like me lol. I've always loved mage but I couldn't bring myself to main it or even play it often because it was so busted. I've been a hardcore dk main since Wrath, as well as side main warrior since TBC (very young at the time) but rogue and mage have always been some of my favorite classes, I just couldnt stand playing something that was so cheesy.
@@itscodyman2075 And I'm also not saying Xaryu is bad in any way, he's a very skilled and versatile player, it just sucks that he mains a class that requires little skill. Being skilled and playing something that's easy can make you just as deadly as someone who's skilled at a high skill class.
@@samuelgoforth1188 What ? You think playing mage at this level is easy ? I was agreeing with you with the mage class skill ceiling being way too high but it is definately harder to play mage at that level than DH / DK / Warrior / Monk / Hunter on highest possible level. The difference here is that mage/rogue and arguably druid got a very big skill celing meaning that by mastering completly the class you can 2v1 regular people using combinaison of strong cc and burst damage which you can't really do with other specs which have limited cc, burst damage or self healing.
@@proximity5771 DH and Monk have been broken since they came out, excluding a couple patches here and there. Besides fury warrior specifically the past 2 xpacs, warrior isnt faceroll easy or even close to it. DK is a hero class, just like DH, they will always be op in either pvp or pve. Hunter is ALWAYS bouncing around being good or shit so using that as an example is pretty poor, especially when theres a huge difference between hunters that button mash and hunters that actually know what theyre doing, just like every class. If you think mage, rogue, and druid of all things have the highest skill ceilings then you must be playing a different version of WoW than everyone else.
