KIM, find an old *DEEP FREEZER* that doesn't work on Marketplace for your feed and snacks..Will keep 🐁🐀🦨🦝🐐🐄 out of your feed and also stay fresh..You will thank me later..🤣😂🤣😂😂
Kim you should look for a large deep freezer that doesn’t work anymore that someone is looking to rehome it. You could use it for storage and put a lock on it. Instead of using the trash can. Just a thought ❤
Hi Kim, sorry you are having trouble with the raccoon's, but I have faith that you will find the right solution for the problem! Hope you have a great day! Teresa here in Minnesota 😊
I can’t help but sit here and laugh Kim at your raccoon situation. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the movie the great outdoors with John Candy and Dan Ackroyd, but it reminds me of the raccoons in that movie hence my laughter.😂
Oh my goodness, raccoons are terrible! I hope you can figure out a way to keep them out of the feed. There are these heavy duty plastic bins with attached lids that are made for outside. I can’t remember the brand. They are tougher than those Rubbermaid containers. I bought one from marketplace. She actually gave it to me with other stuff I bought. God bless, Kim! 🙏💗
Kim, could you build a heavy duty gauge expanded metal sheet cage to lock in your feeds & snacks? If you wanted it welded, Uriel welds things for Lester? A nice heavy duty metal feed cage would be easy to weld. No way raccoons could break or eat/ claw their way in. Good luck.
Hi Kim and Levi. That’s a right pain to have a 🦝 or 🦨 roaming around the barn. Hope the cabinet works to keep the pesky critters out of the food. Have a wonderful day take care God bless. 💕🙏🦋
Kim, the area where your feed bags are between KT and the goats, get hardware cloth and make a feed room. Make it long enough and wide enough and tall enough so. You can get in there and get the feed and treats. Make a gate so the raccoons can’t break in. That way you can store everything in there and varmits can’t.
How frustrating Kim. We don’t have them in Australia thank goodness. I was watching one of your videos about a month ago and I wasn’t paying attention and the next minute I have a tiger snake at my close to my feet, these snakes are one of the deadliest snakes in the WORLD and it was to late for me to move so you have to stay completely still praying the whole time please don’t climb up me because the are aggressive and will bite. I have never been so terrified in my life
Hey Kim and Levi ❤ ☕️ Oh no, and racoon opened the snacks! 😂 I'm so sorry for giggling at little. I know that's a pain though. I don't think I've ever known they could do so much. Oh my, they have sharp teeth, huh? Do you think anyone has a deep freezer that doesn't work anymore and you can use it for storing food and snacks? You can put a latch on it, too. I can't tell you how many times I've fed my barn kitties after dark and walked back outside and a possum would be eating their food. I don't get rid of them because they actually help keep down ticks and such, but it's still a pain. Sending prayers that you can get what you need to keep them out of everything. Love y'all ❤
Hey Kim and Levi. Kim i agree with everyone who says an old chest freezer will solve your pest problems. We've used them for years. They've kept all pests out and they have a lock ( if youre lucky enough to be able get a key). Hope ya'll have a great day
Good day, Kim I am watching your video on my television, but I can’t comment on there. You’re very talented at building stuff so… My sister had a metal shed and her garbage pail in that shed and the raccoons would tear open the doors rip open the garbage pail constantly no matter what she did. So she ended up that she had to build a wooden container that had a lock in a good bracket for the lock. It was more like a small shed I guess, but not really a shed and that it was the only way that she could keep the raccoons out. Good luck, keeping them away. They are scavengers.
Seems like everyone on the hill is plagued by raccoons. I feel for you. Raccoons scale & raid my bird feeders. They actually knock them down and break them getting the seed. So frustrating!
Good Sunny Morning from Pennsylvania. I don't mean to laugh but the first thing that come to mind was the Raccoons Dined and dashed😂.I'm sure they are a Menace. Wishing Everyone A Blessed Week. Much love from Pennsylvania.
Hi Kim sorry about the racoon situation, very frustrating. They are clever and they have those very adept hands. 🦝 Also they now have minty breath. 😁 sorry couldn't resist that. I hope you can find a perfect solution for keeping your food & snacks safe.❤&🙏
Get some of the feed barrels like Dan & bri have. The white ones with the latching handles. You should also be sure there is no cat food out for the cats at night.
I agree with a couple others that have said non-working deep freeze on marketplace. That’s what I use in my barn, keeps all the rodents out, big and small. Can prob find one for free, people just want it hauled away.
Hang the long cabinet sideways so the door hangs down get a brace thing like on the legs of a folding table to hold the door open when you need. then you can put a lock on it and if somehow they get the lock off the door will be to heavy to lift.
Kim we have a Louisiana state park here locally by us that we have camped at. We have seen raccoons unzip a tent to get to food, take the lid off an iron pot to get to leftovers, get into galvanized trash cans with a large heavy cement block that the park puts out and trying to get our truck to get to food. They are smart little creatures to get to food.
Raccoons are smart and able to do amazing things. The can unscrew jars, open ice chest, open garbage cans. I had one chew through the siding on the second floor to get into the attic b
Good Morning Kim and Levi raccoons are a terrible creature to have get in your barn or anywhere 😔 All they do is create destruction when they are around 🥴 So sorry you have them they get into everything 🙄 I have had babies hanging around and even though they are cute they are destructive 🥺 Be Safe sorry you have to be cleaning up after them U know I have before lot's of times 😏🩵
Raccoons and opossums are smart. I left a plastic container like that on my porch and when I opened the door in middle of the night to let the dog out, they unscrewed the top and were eating the treats 😝. This was opossums that time.
Them raccoons are sure pesky. Must have sharp teeth plus claws to open up that plastic container. Like the idea for the shelf. Should work, got my fingers crossed 🤞
Too bad you couldn't find some old metal kitchen cabinets on marketplace. Even a nonworking small chest freezer to sore your unopened bags of feed, it would keep raccoons, mice & bugs out, if you put a hasp/lock on it.
You're gonna need the plastic bins like Daniel has with the twist lock top or another black bin or metal cabinets. Definitely not wood. Make it difficult and they'll give up.
Kim, is it possible that you can buy some like great metal great like you seen on a barbecue grill and I have somebody that weighs in your family maybe to build you one that you could put a lock on and you can put your food in there
KIM, find an old *DEEP FREEZER* that doesn't work on Marketplace for your feed and snacks..Will keep 🐁🐀🦨🦝🐐🐄 out of your feed and also stay fresh..You will thank me later..🤣😂🤣😂😂
We have an old refrigerator in our milk parlor to keep mice outta stuff. That's such a good idea
Kim you should look for a large deep freezer that doesn’t work anymore that someone is looking to rehome it. You could use it for storage and put a lock on it. Instead of using the trash can. Just a thought ❤
Good for you, I don't care what anybody think or hell even say, But you are truly a STRONG WOMEN 100%😊

Exactly! I thought that I was the only one that thought of that.
Kim, those raccoons have spread the word that there are treats on Morrow Hill. 😂😂😂❤❤
Oh my goodness, raccoons are terrible! I hope you can figure out a way to keep them out of the feed. There are these heavy duty plastic bins with attached lids that are made for outside. God bless, Kim! 🙏💗
I pray you get your shelving unit soon. Raccoons are so destructive. You and Levi have a wonderful evening. Prayers and blessings for you 🙏 💜

Hi Kim and Levi I'm praying that the new cabinet will keep them out.
Good morning Kim. What about a cabinet that Jake took out of his house? Or does Lester have any cabinets from his barndaminiam?
Yes we used to use the large deep freezer when we had horses and it was wonderful…loved it from Northern Indiana 😊
💕💖❤💘💝💓I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us!!! Have a great day!!!!

Kim maybe at flea market some metal file cabinets. Cheap at times. Just a thought
Hey Kim and Levi ❤ ☕️

Hi Kim and Levi, hoping the cabinets do the trick keeping the raccoons out.
Seems like everyone on the hill is plagued by raccoons. I feel for you. Raccoons scale & raid my bird feeders. They actually knock them down and break them getting the seed. So frustrating!
Good luck! I do hope it works for you!❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏

Buy some tall metal trash cans with lids to put everything in. I had to do that with bird seed and crushed corn years ago to keep squirrels out.
Get some of the feed barrels like Dan & bri have. The white ones with the latching handles. You should also be sure there is no cat food out for the cats at night.
Prayers for your plans. Raccoons can be so destructive and a nuisance.
Also vicious. They will attack if cornered.
I agree with a couple others that have said non-working deep freeze on marketplace. That’s what I use in my barn, keeps all the rodents out, big and small. Can prob find one for free, people just want it hauled away.
Good morning, Kim. The koons are very mischievous. Good Bless. Love you all. 💜💙
I think i would use a large dog kennel to put all feed and treats in..they cant get thru a wire cage..or a pool storage that may have a lock
Hello from Colorado! 💙💙💙💙💙
Good morning Kim. Hope you have a wonderful blessed day. 🙏🏾☺️
Hugs and prayers to you and Levi❤
Hang the long cabinet sideways so the door hangs down get a brace thing like on the legs of a folding table to hold the door open when you need. then you can put a lock on it and if somehow they get the lock off the door will be to heavy to lift.
I live to far north, no raccoons, no skunks, no snakes, but cold weather 🙁 -5 this am.
Love watching your channel, makes me feel warm!😆🤣😁
😂❤
Hi Kim, I really hope it works. I'm sure it will have a blessed weekend
KIM THIS IS A QUESTION, COULDN'T YOU BUILD A COMPLETE BOX THAT TOP OPENS AND FRONT DROPS DOWN TO PUT THE 50lb BAGS INTO.
How about a 3 or 4 drawer metal filing cabinet?
Kim, get some metal trash cans for all of your feed bags to protect it from critters eating it.
KIM..I USE GALVANIZED CANS AND BARRELS...SMALLER CANS HAVE LOCK TOPS...BUT YOU DO WHATEVER YOU WANT ❤
Kim we have a Louisiana state park here locally by us that we have camped at. Hi Kim❤ Hi Levi❤. Miss Kim your Beautiful no matter if you’re wearing makeup or not❤
Hi Kim. You have a lovely singing voice. Hope it all works out for you with pests
Raccoons are smart and able to do amazing things. The can unscrew jars, open ice chest, open garbage cans. I had one chew through the siding on the second floor to get into the attic b

A large galvanized metal garbage can with 4 metal hasps and 4 locks will keep them out. 😊
Maybe metal garbage cans or some old file cabinets
Hi Kim and Levi thank you for having me along with y'all God bless y'all love y'all
Them raccoons are sure pesky. Must have sharp teeth plus claws to open up that plastic container. Like the idea for the shelf. Should work, got my fingers crossed 🤞
Do you have a locked door to your storage shed? If not maybe that would be a big help.
Kim, Did you use the bread with pancake syrup to bait the trap?
Too bad you couldn't find some old metal kitchen cabinets on marketplace. Even a nonworking small chest freezer to sore your unopened bags of feed, it would keep raccoons, mice & bugs out, if you put a hasp/lock on it.
Love how surprised you sounded. There's a bag missing😅
@@Judy-gb5gx lol until I realized I had already found that bag I was surprised
Thanks Kim!
You're gonna need the plastic bins like Daniel has with the twist lock top or another black bin or metal cabinets. Definitely not wood. Make it difficult and they'll give up.
How about a metal file cabinet off marketplace ? Good luck ❤
Good morning Kim, I look forward to seeing your videos
You need a truck tool chest to put your treats in ! Raccoons are little Houdini getting top off ..! I know you will figure it out !!!!
The racoons have been a problem on Morrow Hill forever!! Sure hope you can find a solution, food is too expensive. It's madding! Thief's!!
Kim morning I think they still have metal containers maybe pawpaw might have 1 he likes to keep Old Stuff 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👍
Raccoons are smart little critters good luck. Have a wonderful evening now and may your days be blessed stay safe
What about a metal file cabinet that locks ?
Look for a metal file cabinet, on marketplace or at the goodwill. If you find a tall one, you could put your goat snacks in them. Have a good day!
Sorry you're having pesky critter problems, Kim. Hope you find a solution quickly that doesn't cost an arm & a leg 😉
Good afternoon Kim and Levi hope you are doing well today ❤
When you hang the cabinet put cabinets put knobs on it and put a baby cabinet lock on it to secure it at night
4 drawer file cabinet ?
I keep feed in lick tubs with lick tub lids and never has any wild animals got into the feed. my husband got them free from his coworkers
you should tie Minky in there with the goats
GoodMorning Kim
Kim, is it possible that you can buy some like great metal great like you seen on a barbecue grill and I have somebody that weighs in your family maybe to build you one that you could put a lock on and you can put your food in there
Welds
Those pain in butt Raccoon are definitely expensive little guy's, I'm sure it cost you a fortune in food now also in containers too!😮
Call your friends from, the school board..there are always getting rid of metal cabinets..
Have you ever seen the popcorn tins?
Those would be perfect to put your feed in…
Kim 0/ raccoons 1. I have faith in you, Kim . So I smile but I tried not to last.🥰🥰🥰
Those darn raccoons tear everything up they have sharp teeth and claws 🦝
put the live trap in the barn near the feed if you can
Old metal lockers from a school ?
Like mice they can chew thru plastic. Need glass containers 😊
The racoon liked the treat so much it had take out for later. 😅❤
I always used metal trash cans, job boxes and popcorn tins to hold treats and feed, because of the mice and other vermin.
Good morning Kim and Levi ☕️🤟☺️👍❤️💯
Good morning Kim & Levi.🩷💙
Good Thursday morning 1/30 Kim and Levi ☕️☕️🤗🤗
Hi Kim and Levi 🦮🐈🐐🫏🐓🐮💕
Good morning Kim and Levi ❤❤
Make a feed room that you can lock up
If you put peppermint patty or the mints in the cage, the cats won’t eat them, but the coons will
Could you catch them in a trap then pop pop
It’s so disheartening isnt it x
Good 🌨 ☂️ Thursday morning! ❤
You should have checked with Jake he was tossing out all the cabinets in his house.
Hi 👋 Kim 🫶🏻
I use to have a pet raccoon and he loved peppermint…he would wash them until there wasn’t much left before he ate them.
Raccoons are so cute but such a menace🤨
Just like children 😅
Good Morning ❤
Bait the trap with peppermints.
You probably won't catch cats.
Aww, true😂
