Gorgeous! I love how asymmetrical it is. I’m over the super tight, round, and perfectly symmetrical bouquets. They feel old and outdated to me. If that’s your thing, cool. But I love this.
This is cool. I’ve seen stuff like this, and I love it. However, I feel like this bouquet specifically looks too messy. I get it’s supposed to be garden style, but even then there’s no smooth transitions on the layers of flowers. When I look at this exact bouquet, I can’t appreciate every flower that it’s in there. Hopefully it’s just my eye that can’t define what she’s making. She’s great!
Many thanks for this video to show florists’ schools trainees how NOT to work. With 9 technical and stylistic mistakes in only 15 minutes that is a really helpful video.
@@fairyfreak1 The only ridiculous thing is that the bride has to take care of holding this creation in a "right way" in order to be photographed beautifully.
@@amandamartin5721 Rules are boring. Technical know-how is however essential. Such creation is okay as one-off-“event” made by a DIY-bride. For professional florists this kind of erratic and chaotic work is non-ergonomic and inefficient. For a bride this creation is non-ergonomic too but if it is her personal decision…

Beautiful bouquet, beautiful designer 👌I'm still learning to embrace this new look (don't want to appear "old" lol) That center green is more Chartreuse than Kelly though right? Thank you for the video
Love ur video so much Kaylee! I literally watched it several times. I learned a lot from ur video, hope to see more videos from u. It would be awesome if u have ur own RUclips channel :D
Thank you for this video!! Super helpful, absolutely beautiful, and informative. How early in advance do you make the bouquets and how do you keep the flowers fresh for the bride's actual wedding day?
You can make them a day before or earlier. Just keep them in a floral fridge! You can spray it with finishing touch and let it dry then put it in! To keep it fresh.
Was surprised to see the stem length so short... not sure how cutting again when giving to the bride and then her having it out of water for a period of time will help it rehydrate when she puts it back in water.
I'm sorry if that was unclear! I try to re-cut the bouquet and put it in water before I give to the bride, so that it can have one last fresh drink before she holds it during the ceremony. I will also usually re-cut the stems on the bridal bouquet again after the ceremony so that it can suck up more water to stay beautiful for the reception as well!
Preparing flowers isn't something that "must" be done before making a hand-tied bouquet, however it would make the design process faster. I don't always choose exactly what I'm putting into my bouquet and prepare it beforehand because I don't always know exactly what I'll be putting in the bouquet. I like to let my creativity flow.

Hi Everyone, Could you help me out I try to find nice ribbons to order online, but to Europe, could you help me out, i found beautiful ones, but I could not order it, they deliver only US.
Set a standard investment level and you won't attract clients whose budgets are lower than your minimum requirement. As you move forward with your business you will determine your path for client demographic and budget level. The pricing per event method won't work for florists who do lower budget DIY weddings.

Spiral does not work well with this style of design. Crossed stems create and maintain the shape for fine art design style. Takes some practice to get out of the spiral but you get used to it
Too big and heavy for my taste. Like to have about half of the stems for a bridal bouquet. Love the flowers and colors you picked though (except the dark ones). Just not to carry around like this.

This is ridiculous. It’s a beautiful bouquet. You don’t have to follow technical steps.
A true artist always bends the rules. Stay basic if thats how you like it.

As a florist how are you charging if you don't know what's going in it?
100% agree.
Charge per event not per arrangement.

whole bouquet looks wilted, it's better not to use some flowers for a wedding bouquet.
Far to short ......and rather scruffy.
