Lingcod fishing is just getting better, maybe it's the Bait! "HERRING"

June 9th. The fishing seems like it getting better and better.
I got my Lingcod on
my first bait so did Chris, He got his first then me.
Chris put on the third Herring to help me but I ended getting my own, as he was netting my ling his Herring swam off this hook, That's why we used three Herring. We took 18 total Herring in two buckets 9 in each.

That was a fast trip what 30 minutes out and in man I love it thanks Dan had fun that Day great fishing

Chris I think it was 32 minutes out and in, were did you lose 2 minutes, some were, but yes it very fun these Lingcod. those evenings were great tides and were perfect for fishing.

Thanks! It has been another great season. I've fallen behind on my videos once it got busy here. I was opening at 4:30am.
I still have 13th fishing and shrimping this day 14th and 15th fishing to go.

They got Herring now, Yes get all you need just don't get too many in a bucket without an aerator and have a way to change the water no more then a dozen without an aerator.

Okuma Celilo 9'0" length heavy action 15-30lbs. 3/4- 4 oz. the reel is Shimano Tekota 500 LC, It's been a great setup for two seasons for me.
