I'd be onto Patrolapart about that shit pinion shaft. It looked like the gears were hardened but that shaft is just brittle cast material of crap quality.
@@jamestyrrell4179 My next step would be to take them to consumer affairs because the part is not of merchantable quality. You will get a refund if you can bring yourself to do it. You could well get compensation for the collateral damage as well. Australian consumer law is very powerful, especially since Patrolapart will get their money back from their supplier - they are just being lazy asses hoping you'll take another shit product off their shelf.......and getting paid for their product cost to boot.
Great build.
01:37 Smart. Putting a rubber sleeve to protect the line. Practical attention to detail👌👌
Love ur work bro 😎 been waiting for next episode 😂
Coming together mate, would be keen to see an articulation test off road once you’ve sorted the teething issues
I reckon the tailshaft breaking had had more to do with the pinion failure rather than materials.
tail shaft broke second. explosion noise first than tinny noise from tail shaft hitting road the I heard the tail shaft end get thrown into a drain
You should install a 12mm denso mechanical fuel pump on your 4JB1 👍
I heard d maxx seats bolt in, i could be wrong
Looks sick !!!! How come you didn't go for hydro bump stops ??
Space was one issue and because I don't think I'll ready need them tbh
@jamestyrrell4179 yeah fair enough
Oof too much power 🤣
Hey mate sick build just wondering what that bar is called I wanna modify one to fit my n70 :)
No idea tbh it doesn't even have a brand on it
Gutted! Wonder if the pinion broke purely from poor quality or what

Yea I have been but all they could offer was a new set at half price. I didn't worry about it
