As title says. A cleanup of a very good 15 years old sound system. Even to today (2024) - these speaker sound brilliant! Nothing is rattling and speakers sound crystal clear!

hey man, thanks so much for this video! but I'm hoping you can help me with one big question. I unpacked my 12 year old SoundsSticks 2 system and all works perfectly. But both of the speakers have the front sections disconnected from the rear. And I was going to epoxy the two halves together - as you did near the end of your video. But now I'm thinking, if I epoxy the pieces together, I would never be able to get them apart for further maintainance? So, I'm thinking, maybe just tape or rubber bands?
I'm thinking of eBay-ing the system but not sure if anyone would want it, done up with tape or rubber bands?
I tried Harmon Kardon to see if the two sections were supposed to come apart, but they were no help...
What do you think?
Buy glue for mobile phones, it can be disolved with hear from a hairdryer (b9000, something like that)

Most likely some capacitors or cable that goes to the computer

Also the base volume must be set quite low because there are no sticks speakers to share the power why would the whoofer onlly function if no speakers yet connecters if you do not use there is no sound at all despite no speakers whoofer works
I have HK 2 but The Dildo All speakers surround rubber rotten the plastic brittle I threw them kept wire hoping to do a mod I gor a pair of Greative and plugged in wire no soeakers divide out between whoofer and Creative and iPhone music the base works ok ✅ and with other speakers separate with own USB power small back whoofer flat oval Manwhile searching for a mod the bare wire mustbe cover woth tape to stop contact
