Grew up in the Swedish Rally Woods. My uncle been driving for 40 years. He still compete in the top 5 positions against the young talents. Ive helped build 6 cars for him. He is my big Rally idol. He won every rally except for the Swedish official rally. Other then him. Stig Blomquist who drove Group B Audi Quattro in the -80s

@@ExploringTheSmoke obnoxious probably actually makes more sense, they're obnoxiously close, ie. with little regard for the cars and danger that are passing through

My favourite Rally driver is Walter Röhrl. He is a real genius and was able to go fast during heavy fog in the rally of Arganil. He just drove by his photographic memory the 42 km stage. He was also driving 24h races where he switched off the lights when he overtook cars in the dark and bad weather to make sure the driver behind couldn't follow him. He also drove together with Nikki Lauda Deutsche Touringwagen Meisterschaft. He only wanted the first race total freedom to show everyone who was the boss. He shamed everyone even Nikki Lauda. In all the following races he just supported his team mates. He never drove for the fame and normally participated only in 6 rallies a year. He didn't like his car flying therefore he avoided Finnland and Sweden. He was also the first driver making Pikes Peak under 11 minutes. After that the road got changed to tarmac.

The guy running on the road was another driver (Bruno Saby) who stopped just after it had happened and made an emergency call.
Nobody knows exactly what caused the accident since the closest video/witnesses during the accident was likeky the ones who filmed it on the other side.
