Definitely! constant fast gear changes with a dmf seems to cause premature synchro wear/failure as well (depending on the vehicle). what I believe is happening is the dmf always has a little play in it in all directions and naturally the fingers on a pressure plate are never going to push in 100% equal so under normal gear changes everything has time to disengage properly and all is well, however fast gear changes I believe the play in the dmf and the pressure plate not being depressed 100% equally results in the clutch disk dragging briefly before actually disengaging. This is fine under normal gear change times but if you start changing gears faster than the clutch can actually fully disengage it's going to result in power still being applied to the input shaft and the poor synchro's are going to take the brunt of that.

Double clutch it, it helps. Ive drove a few dmf cars while quick shifting. The other choice is rev matching it helps a little bit.
