For all the good things that Windows 11 brings, there’s also a slew of bugs that make the ‘next-gen’ experience less than ideal. One annoying issue affecting many early adopters is a situation in which users get stuck at the login screen - The sign-in form doesn’t appear, so a restart is required to boot successfully.
If your machine is new enough to support both, enabling TPM (short for Trusted Platform Module) and Secure Boot is often quite easy. No special skills are needed, and you'll just be clicking through menus. If you've never heard the words "BIOS menu" you might feel out of your element, but don't be intimidated. With a little patience, any first-timer can do this.

Sometimes your computer turns on as you'd expect, you get to the Windows login screen, but then something happens. Your computer might freeze up, reboot on its own, or just stop and not respond to anything you do.
Maybe you see the login screen but after entering your password, nothing happens. On the other hand, maybe you can log in but then Windows freezes and you have to reboot manually. Then again, maybe Windows seems to start but your desktop never shows up and all you can do is move your mouse around a blank screen.
Regardless of the specifics, this is the troubleshooting guide to use if Windows starts most of the way but you can't get logged in or your desktop never fully loads.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 11 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Huawei and Samsung.

Whats more frustrating is that i dont even want to upgrade to w11 anytime soon. But somehow one day windows decided to upgrade it to w11 without my permission. All i did was open up my pc as normal and suddenly its upgrading to w11 with no option for me to cancel. And now im facing tons of bugs. Well done

I was having issues with Windows Hello not working because I didn’t have a PIN set up.
I got all the way to tapping the F5 key at 1:29 and was still stuck at the login screen. I was able to restart my computer by tapping the power button in the lower, right corner. After restarting, I was prompted to create a PIN which resolved my issue! Thank God!

When I hit “sign in” even after following these steps nothing happens. It either does nothing at all or takes me back to the Lock Screen. I can’t even hard reset the computer because it gets to 37% and then says “undoing changes” and reboots in safe mode again

I have my login problem "your credentials could not be verified" and when I do these steps my pc says that it "ran into an error :(" and restarts after some time. This issue came when I was resting everything in my pc. Please help

It never solved my problem, When I try to type in my password it no longer recognises the keyboard. Strangle it responds to F5 but does not recognise the other keys, I put it into voice mode and it says "hidden" when I try to type in my code, No keyboard works on it now, all because I turned off the computer.

@@jlnddr9118 I was lucky. As it was a new computer I had nothing on it so I totally reset it. But trying to set it up I encountered what looked like the same problem! But soon it showed an option to "recognise letters and numbers" which I chose. So somehow the passcode screen may have had that problem first time??
@@JesusandbibleI thought i was the only one. i don't know what the absolute fuck happened but this shit locks me out of my pc. literally no fucking key works besides like w,q, and z. then it asks me to type out A1B2C3 but you literally can't and if i'm lucky the keys work for a second before going haywire. it ends up typing a bunch of shit thus leaving me locked out.

Great Video! However, it did not open in safe mode after the reboot. I got up the advanced settings - reset button again, hit the F5 key, computer went blank - rebooted then the screen popped up again asking for my PIN to get into the computer. And this time, it did not have internet connection.

One thing I wanted to add, im unsure if it was said here, if you are completely unable to login due to adding a microsoft account, go back to a restore point before you had the account and you will be able to login to your PC.

@@syedmishaal8349 someone helped me create a new user account that allowed me to log in and access my files. Then I made a copy of it and reinstalled Windows. the new user account was mad by the Cmd
There was a bug in the update. So I just gave delete latest update and it worked

When I tried this method, it says, "Your credentials could not be verified. " And then it followed along with, "something went wrong and your pin isn't available (status: 0xc000006d, substatus: 0x0). Restart your device to see if that fixes your problem.

It actually worked, just for those on windows 11 press Alt+F4 to show your power options and then select "restart"
Help please ive held down shift and then after alt+f4 my computer just keeps restarting

Will have to try this tonight. For the first time, instead of logging in by email address, I got 'insert PIN' - well heck if I know what that was, if I had one - and there were zero options, not even 'I forgot my pin'. So frustrating. Will report back this evening, hoping this works. So incredibly annoying!

Before Windows 11 I did not have to login with a Password or Pin. Now I have to Login. Not only that but I have 2 accounts showing on the startup scree with the exact same name.

Try power cycling your pc. Hold on the power button while the pc is off, it will turn on but still hold on to the power button then on the second restart let go of the power button you'll see "automatic repair" then go to the advanced options. I hope it works 👌
I am not a fan of the Win11 login screen. Any idea how to get directly to the log in, instead of having to click, and then wait for log in to load then log in and then skip a pin thing? I just want to log in. Not do extra steps.

The problem is...I have to enter a PIN and I never created one. Therefore, I literally can't log in to my computer. It won't let me switch to password. I emailed my moms email from Microsoft and she refused to tell me the code. I can't log in.
