It didnt feel like you were really on the water imo, and navigating the buoys on some sections became infuriating. Having said that the game does have its fans and it does look beautiful but games are supposed to be fun and handle well, and for me it was a huge let down after the classic game on the N64.

Certainly sounds like they should've fixed it before they released the nt mini. Cadash is a fun Arcade game. They are missing the Ninja and Priestess from the Genesis version. Still has co-op, which is cool. I used to work at an arcade and I've played so many arcade games and so many odd and random arcade games at that. I have a MAME cabinet currently which is awesome for my old school gaming fix.

Just got done playing Rolling Thunder and Rolling Thunder 2 on the Namco Collection for Switch. I have played Rolling Thunder on Genesis and enjoyed the game it was like a mix of Sunset Riders and Elevator Action to me.
DOS game recommendations: Any and all Commander Keen games, Airborn Ranger, Arkanoid 1&2, Bananoid, Carmen San Diego, I used to have TONS of DOS games but these just came off the top of my head.
DOS games Hocus Pocus, God of Thunder, Jetpack, Raptor Call of Shadows, Death Rally, SWIV 3D, Screamer 2, Carmageddon, Dungeon Master 2, Rogue, Incredible Machine, Stargunner, Pickle Wars, Heretic, ChronoMaster
Commander Keen is not even that good compared to other platformers such as Monster Bash the physics and controls on that one is amazing, wish I had known about that game when Iwas a kid. Adventures of Cosmo is another cool one. Keen just gets street rep because it's from the Doom guys but the gameplay on it very basic and level design becomes cheap after first few levels.

Cadash's Arcade Port is Superior in every aspect except perhaps it's time limit per screen. Recently purchased the Super Console X and got to finally relive the nostalgia.
SEGA had licenses for all the sports leagues and players, as well as stars. Nintendo didn't focus on sports at all, leaving it to 3rd party developers, or Japanese imports without the licenses. The MD processor was way better for fast sports action, and on the SNES it was just a sluggish experience. In the 90s sports fans loved the Genesis MD and SNES was largely ignored by them. In retrospect SNES had the overall better games, it's an unfair comparison since it came out 2 years after the MD.
Remember that Freddie cruger looking guy with the hat and a sword? I remember playing it on the Sega but can never recall what it was called. He was like in dungeons as a platformer of course
I have that Arrow Flash game on my like knockoff Mini Sega made by @Games and has a alright amount of Sega Genesis game on it, it has like all 3 Streets of Rage games all 3 Golden Axe games Sonic games a few other good games but in Arrow Flash I would always get stuck at that asteroid level it's like level 3 or 4 but it's a bitch to dodge those asteroids

Are you using a PVM? I don't have a PVM, but a commercial CRT. I bought an Genesis model 1 S-Video Adapter from Taoboa. It rocks! No jailbars or lag. Vibrant colors and sharp pixels. I LOVE it! There's also a model 2/32X S-Video Adapter available.

Yeah blades of Vengeance is a cool one pretty tough tho, you should play Moon Crystal on NES/Famicom, also give Chakan the Forever man a try for Sega that one is really hard if you're new to it lmao, anyone who has played it knows the pain of that game and that Scream Chakan does when you die and you will die alot!
If you want to see what the Genesis could do in terms of graphical tricks, just go watch a Gunstar Heroes playthrough. That game pretty much used every trick in the book.
