- Chicago Marathon, one of my favorite Abbott World Major Marathons, is very well organised, super friendly and supportive staff and volunteers, and a generous Expo with lots of free goodies!
I'd describe it as flat, fast, & festive! These 11 tips should help you manage your marathon, make the best of your time and energy, and have an awesome run😉😊!!!

Really liked your video. Well done with lots of great info. I will be doing my first marathon in Grand Rapids, Mich this fall. Im 66 and will be almost 67 by then. I only started running in July of 2023, but its been an awesome journey so far. Thanks again. I will be scooping up all your helpful hints for sure.👍

@ Thank you!! Yeah I got to cheer on friends and other runners in 2024 and the atmosphere was the push I needed to join a charity team!
